In my neck of the woods the BlackBerry brand itself is fairly tarnished. I'm not in Corp Dev, but I imagine it would be a long difficult road to re-brand or attempt to change the current BlackBerry image.

I curretly live in a small town in Alaska. No mater where you go, some people will still hassle you over political and religious beliefs. We even have internet access (where I live it maxes out at 22MBps) And while supply runs do happen infrequently, we have Amazon (or any other online provider) to provide us with resupply.

I don't know if I would go as far as relating Alaska to Mars. Certainly the appeal to Mars is something more unique than just living in a small town.

I would think with current technology, an always-recording system could be put into place at a fairly low cost. Certainly an interesting idea for anyone looking for a new starup idea involving cameras and bullet proof vests.

I've never seen a one off fix for something as complex as procrastination. Usually the "treatment" is taylored to the individual.

Is it possible this is a physiological health issue (like ADHD)? I don't really condone medicine unless absolutely necessary. Doing exercise right before work can sometimes help relax and keep you focused.

Most studies tend to point to the prefrontal cortex as the culprit for procastincation. It seems the more you stay on task, the easier it is over time. Like exercising a muscle.

Had this article never been written, I would never know one could sue over lemon laws. This blog helps people see inside a world that we might not otherwise. Surely something we don't remotely ponder on a day-to-day basis.

While I agree that publicizing frivolous arguments typically is uncalled for; Tesla has been the target of many attacks for which I initially thought were unsafe product design. If not for this blog I might think it's common for a Tesla to catch fire at random, or that they don't travel the advertised distances.

I think re-wording segments of these blogs to be more factual and less emotionally driven would be nice. The openess that they are trying to provide is at least noteworthy.

I'm not in a "save the world" group but I do have friends that are in conservation groups. The common response was a sarcastic "who would have guessed?!?!" type of response.

If we find DNA based microbial life it could certainly be amazing evidence in favor of transpermia. We would at least compare to DNA on earth and analyze similarities. Even plant and animal DNA are very similar (double helix shape)

In business the "Mob" is usually right. If the mob of people are saying they won't buy into your product, you usually conform to the mob.

As a more than casual android gamer I'm not sure I would call the graphics ps3 quality. Perhaps on a small screen some of these games look nice (like modern combat series and nova) but when playing on a tv at 1080p the lack of definition of textures and overall quality is very aparent.

mobile games are much closer to ps2. Gta3 was released for ps2 and now runs on android. My experience with gta3 wasn't a smooth one, although maybe a galaxy s5 would have a more consistent/smoother experience.

I feel like we have a ways before we get to true ps3 graphics. But I also agree not to discredit mobile games. For the price (about $140) and all the other benefits you recieve from the streaming video offerings, doesn't seem like a bad deal to me.

I agree with what you are saying. But currently oculus releases developer versions of their hardware and an open standard to work with.

I can certainly see Facebook pulling in the reigns on this and moving this technology away from games and towards their own platform. (which in my opinion could be a negative thing)

I understand a "Meta-Verse" could also be very cool. I just believe many gamers want a gaming VR experience and are now worried the rug may be pulled from underneath them at any time.

Hats off to Zuckerberg though, I do believe it was an extremely smart purchase. I like to imagine that I would have done the same thing.

Fair enough I could see Apple doing this. Although if batteries last as long as indicated here they would have to up the cost nearly twice as much per battery to keep profits steady.
