Guys, don't listent to wrong feedback coming out of... whatever. Trollblock is an awesome resource for trolling and you should stick to that idea. Comments should be hella funny and yeah, keep the facebook login. Otherwise u'll have a bunch of weirdo nazis screaming out loud. Cool stuff!

Hi B-Scan, Thanks a lot for your feedback! Really appreciate it. I think we need to add a help tooltip there that says "start typing-in to get a suggestion from your catalog". The thing is that you need to start typing in pricing table to get an item from catalog suggested. Taxes are going to be optional in next versions... say, it is not that often that in US taxes added as extra.

Thanks a lot for your feedback, we are working on it. SalesForce integration is coming in April-May. First CRM we decided to connect with is HighRise.

Michael, I really appreciate your feedback. You pointed out issues that surely should be addressed. Actually we got half of your items in our bug tracking list. Again, thank you so much for your feedback. It is great and straight to the point. Would you mind to elaborate on profile page? Thanks

Apowell, Awesome thought, thank you soo much. We tried to minimize quantity of team members and other items in plans so that we have capacity to add them up after application release. Right now all plans are free and there is no limitation on features. I've already added a task to create one more banner that says "Beautiful proposals in minutes. Check what your clients will get" linking to a live example of web based proposal. Again, really appreciate your feedback.

Thanks a lot for checking out Quote Roller. Here are some benefits: 1) Team work on a proposal 2) Ability to track client's activity 3) Ability to interact with a client 4) (in new release) Clients can sign proposal online 5) (in new release) integrations with popular tools [freshbooks, SalesForce, HighRise] 6) (in new release) mobile version

... and just in general... software is going to loose to saas. It is just more convenient to use web based apps.

I've been trying to do what you are doing just a month ago. I actually flew over to US to meet with potential candidates. Some of them needed base salary, some were willing to work on % basis. I would advise finding guys that really know what your business is about. If your startup rocks, sales people will start knocking your doors.

I would suggest not just trying but actually doing it for at least 3 months. If you enjoy the process and learn quickly [problem solving, creating something new, etc] then programming is your thing. I didn't play Mario or Quake neither most of really good developers I know. You don't have to be a gaming nerd to succeed as a programmer.

Gary, I am not sure if developers would be interested to partner/share the stock of non-profitable company. Usually good developers get at least one inquiry as such a week. Therefore, they got to be very careful. Besides, nowadays it is extremely hard to get a startup developed by an individual, you need to find a team. I would strongly suggest to hire a team. And make sure you hire the best of the best, not the cheapest of the cheapest. Of course, it costs money... but... in software development you always get what you pay for or less. I would suggest joining a solid software development team as a marketing or sales pro and get hours-for-hours deal from them.

We'd love to be there. The app we'd like to present called QuoteRoller (SAAS, automates proposals creation). It is in closed beta.
