Not GNUStep. They are the absolute worst. Miguel de Icaza tried to work with them, and had to leave to create Gnome.

Look at where they are and where Gnome is now.

Saddest story in all of open source.

I don't know what "discourse" you are talking about. I've been reading about crypto on hacker news before bitcoin hit one dollar. Other than r/buttcoin and yahoo groups, this site has been one of the most anti crypto places you can visit, to the point of being an absolute embarrassment.

It has been a lesson to me about humans and intelligence since that time.

Still love the place though, but I learned never to let comments be the source of the things I need to investigate.

A lot of “decent” people here would testify against their mother if the SEC showed up. I’m not convinced. Gensler is a fraud who is captured by monied interests. He is on your side for now, given that many here share the “MIT crypto teacher” desire to destroy that industry. Let’s see how it all plays out.

The dinosaurs at the FED feel just the same as all those on this site that blather on bitterly about crypto waiting for it die. I can’t wait to read the salty howling at end of the year when crypto is at an all time high.

I dont see how posting trivia about the SEC's origin take away from it now being moat protecting, outdated entity. It needs to get back to what it was designed for - 20th century regulation, they are clearly showing their uselessness in the 21st.
