I can’t tell if you are trolling or actually that delusional. Either way, this information is public.

Semantics around banning or suspending pretty much work out to the same.

If you are trolling congrats, I took your bait. It’s a slow Wednesday here in Colombia.

Ok, I tried doing this but now its blocking me from posting further. I think since it needs to keep context, jumping back and forth with ls, cd is causing issues.

For my iteration there were 4 videos in the Documents folder, would have been cool to see what they videos were...

I became anosmic recently, so I asked ChatGPT to write me a poem.

Once, I could smell the roses,
  Their sweet aroma, it exposes
The beauty of the world around
But now, those scents are no longer found

Covid has taken my sense away
No more can I smell a summer's day
Or the savory scent of a home-cooked meal
Or the salty air by the ocean's seal

But still, I am grateful and filled with hope
For the other senses that still allow me to cope
I can see the colors and hear the sounds
And taste the flavors that still abound

I may have lost my sense of smell
But I am determined, I will not dwell
On the things I cannot do
But focus on all that I still can, it's true

For though I may not smell the roses
I am still alive, and that's enough to propose
That I will continue on my journey, unafraid
With gratitude and hope, I will be unafraid.

You can eat your cake and have it too?

I use an ide for core development but knowledge of vim, tmux and linux tools has served me really well.

Also, it helps that a lot of the similarities in newer IDEs are inspired by the predecessors.

There are times where you can't use the ide (middle of ssh session to a remote server, quick edit in a file w/o loading entire folder &c.), so its worth investing some time into these basic tools.

I thought about this a bit more, and I'll give it a shot. I might see if I can contol my mouse using a layer (saw a person on youtube do something similar, but I forgot which video it was :/). That would actually force me to use the layers and see how it feels like in my daily workflow.

I've had such a bad experience with the macbook layering (touchbar too), I feel like it might be more hassle having to turn the layer on and then press the key.

Whereas with a dedicated fn row, it would be a lot easier. I'm quite happy with my adv2, but I can't wait for the reviews.

I was using the magic trackpad, but due to pain in the back of my wrist I had to abandon it entirely and switch over to a logitech trackman mouse (same spot, right in the middle of the keyboard).

Still, startups have to learn that if you're serious about being in enterprise, having a locally hosted option opens doors. Very lucrative doors.

Can you explain why that is?

I do agree with your point, having been exposed to running openstack on a custom infrastructure for my job has really taught me how much $ you can save if you do things yourself over say aws and that once I picked up the basics of compute, volumes, networking and security. My understanding increased.

I sometimes would find it difficult to keep up with all the aws lingo but doing everything myself has been a really good lesson in keeping things small and lean.

Its funny I was actually looking for a wiki extension that allowed more readability on desktop a couple of days ago.

I tried out Readable Wikipedia [0]. Which I really liked (kind of turns it into mobile, which is good enough for me) But it seems to have been abandoned, since images didn't load for me.

I then tried out WikiWand [1]. Although I've been using it and its been ok for the most part, it seemed over the top, and the UI was still a bit dated. Also, didn't like how it would load images in a banner view at the top...

I look forward to trying this out, looks very promising. Thanks for spending the time to make it!!

Genuine question: What’s wrong with 3?

I mostly don’t need my terminal after getting docker up and running, and if I just want to view the output, I can always open it (Control + V).

And I usually have vscode and chrome open.

I don’t know why you’re being downvoted but yes it is.

Sometimes the universe just throws things your way, I just started learning about nginx and I really like it, this overview is super helpful and I can’t wait to finish reading it.

The only thing I dislike is that there’s no good starter docs that I could find on their official website. There was some old cached article which now points to their new website.

I did a quick search on hacker news and the best article was also redirected to another website. But I found it using way back machine. (https://web.archive.org/web/20130728110847/http://carrot.is/...)
