Years ago I read an article about AI and it said the biggest hurdle is getting to where the user doesn’t feel like they have to intervene. Now we have “self driving cars” that require attention, LLMs that require attention. We have blown this first round by making people feel like they cannot trust anything automated. Now our relationship will be “you can do this ok, but I have to babysit you”. Personally I’d rather be a maker than managing an unpredictable ai.
Very interesting! I have been telling my teenage boys if they can master soft skills they will have a lot of success in life despite the industry they work in.
At its simplest, it is a UI to markdown files. When I was first looking into it, it seemed very tightly coupled with the zettelkasten method which I know nothing about. At first I thought that I was missing something but have since used it as just a markdown note app.
I will asked ChatGPT to output responses in a note form in markdown so I can copy/paste it in.

Raycast has window management and it has been amazing. Very easy to move windows between displays and different configurations of window size and placement.
