12 - infra - camera front door

18 - Pi4 4GB is backordered but I found a Pi4 2GB which I hope will serve well as a file/backup server. Hoping to utilize the USB3 to get better I/O to a couple external disks.
Running Bitwarden on a VM right now but will probably move this to a Pi4 in the near future
I have all of these connected to a custom command-and-control web interface (socket.io) where I can send commands, perform updates, monitor load average, version, uptime - and can reboot if needed
I ran the October update and lost my Desktop folder.
After install, a dialog box appears:
"C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is unavailable ..."
A good video from Paul Irish on the subject http://www.paulirish.com/2011/primitives-html5-video/

On the flip side Netflix only hires "fully formed adults". No interns and no fresh college grads.
I love this talk by Erik Meijer on the topic http://vimeo.com/110554082

Very impressive. Work such as this show a mastery of CSS that few possess.
It's an EmberJS app :)
Love it
I haven't had a split brain on my 15 node cluster in over 6 months even though the cluster is split among multiple data centers which do drop connectivity from time to time. When the setting was wrong, it happened constantly. Tune it properly and it won't happen. n/2+1
Ive been having those bad URLs for a couple weeks now and thought Google was really off their game since many times the pages came up dead. Wow.
It always bugged me that load external images is enabled by default on many Apple products still. I was not aware of just how bad it really was. Great post, thanks
To my knowledge, there are 7 companies including OpenVPN who have been granted access to private VPN APIs. I personally use the OpenVPN iOS client for "always-on" phone VPN.
Cool. So it's like http://mosh.mit.edu/ mosh for TCP
Congrats SendHub!
I love Logstash+Kibana+Elasticsearch. Holding 410 million log files in a 10 node cluster! Congratulations Jordan!
We're using EmberJS at Pertino too. edit: I see we are already on the ember-users link :)
That would be
/usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_http --ssl -C 30 -H contracts.comcast.com
