Having said all this: nobody should be using crypto/fips140 unless they know specifically why they're doing that. Even in its 140-3 incarnation, FIPS 140 is mostly a genuflection to FedGov idiosyncrasies.

Given that your Remix version has been ~2 years in development by X number of developers, what are the other expected outcomes? It sounds like potential SEO performance is unknown? Is the development team happy with the choice? I can't recall working somewhere that allowed us to work on a project for two years and not release to production, how did you get business buy in?

It's possible that candidates are getting shuffled around, as some of the Meta recruiters themselves have been laid off. I know multiple people that were/are in the Meta process that this happened to. Takes a few weeks for the new recruiter to go through their double/triple work load of candidates and schedule.

I have a small Deno powered bot that generates Shopify listings from some inputs. It’s been running for a few months with no crashes or restarts.
I think it really comes down to what APIs or packages you need. I have had trouble with projects such as Prisma and wouldn’t do that in production as the generated output is slightly different for some reason (haven’t had time to inspect).

I'm very excited to see a guide that focuses on the process of the interview itself related to system design. There are plenty of "how to design twitter" resources out there, but for many of us, we really need to better understand the system design interview process itself. I am haunted by the of things that caught fire and as a 8-9 year old I didn’t understand why. I don’t think I generally made it far enough that the plebs were in need because the whole city had burned.

No, mrkurt will not cave, I can guarantee you that. Fly will be a platform that says no to feature requests that don't make sense for their customer base.
I have no affiliation with Fly, other than I've used it on and off since the beginning of the platform's existence. They're a veteran team that knows how to build platforms. I definitely trust them to go in the right direction with their roadmap, and all my new projects go on Fly.

What country do you live in? Because I know plenty of folks in certain countries with massive inflation and projects such as bitcoin are their refuge from 100-1000% inflation a year.
When you say “in 10 years” when did that 10 year time frame start and end? Are talking about the 1960s or the 1990s? Because most people I knew didn’t start using the internet regularly until the mid to late 90s or about 30 or so years after it’s inception. 10 years is still pretty early in terms of adoption. I know people who still have never used email…
IMO Lex’s podcast is successful because his only agenda is to explore the conversations with his guests. Lex knows how to dig deeper into a conversation and bring more substance out. Some of these interviews last five hours and they’re interesting the entire time. That takes a lot of concentration & skill to keep a conversation moving for such a period of time.
I don’t always agree with the viewpoints of the guests, but I do believe we hear more from the guests as theirselves, and they seem to provide less corporate speak than the typical interviews.
It’s become one of my favorite podcasts because there aren’t “sides” in the conversation. You might get a few perspectives but the main objective is to actually learn the guests perspective which is harder to find from interviews. I would assume guests would enjoy a interview format where they get to talk about their self and their activities for as long as they want with someone intelligent.
I didn't know React Native + Next.js was a thing? What is the goal of doing that? I don't know what problem Solito is solving, some helpful context would be nice for those of us who are foreign to the problem.

This is why I have candidates do a take home. We’ll (speaking across entire career not just current employer) have people who do mediocre in the video interviews but then turn in a great take home submission. Not everyone performs their best on the spot. I’ve hired so many talented people just by trying alternative formats to the traditional “today you’re gonna interview with 6 people hope you did your leet code.”

Your responsibilities across the rest of your life grow but the amount of time in a given day doesn’t change. If family is important then you’ll have little ones constantly vying for your attention and the ability to just “get in the zone” for 2-12 hours goes out the window.

Sorry you experienced that. As a hiring manager I would think that's pretty cool you want to learn 2D animation even if it has nothing to do with the day job. The fact that you have a desire to learn a skill should be desirable to a hiring manager IMO.
I'd be wary of any tutorial that claims to be battle tested.
