Very cool project. I'm currently evaluating whether I could commute 75km per day on a pedelec. It's very expensive though but the battery pack can be updated to something quite impressive.

These effects add a lot of latency (several pictures) so they are no good for general purpose computing, specifically gaming (hence the "game" or "PC" mode on the TV).

While it's definitely satisfying to interact with the physical world it also means that sometime you're debugging your software issues (which might be hardware ones), using output signals connected to an oscilloscope or a logic analyser (once you have exhausted the blinking LEDS options...) !

I had it on Tuesday, I was surprised by the wording used by Microsoft once you click on the "Learn More" you're redirected to [1].

I had a GFX card that would only work when warm (power-on PC, black screen, wait 30 seconds, power-off PC, power-on PC, PC boots). Failing to wait long enough the PC wouldn't boot. PC booted fine with another GFX card. Never tried debugging further.

My wife had a computer (before we met) that would boot only when warmed up using a hair dryer !

I don't own a Tesla but from what I understand you can get OTA updates which will change the way the AP is working. So if you need to build a mental model on how to "use" the AP to be safe and then the AP changes without notice I can see how that could end badly...

Are Tesla not equipped with a USB port ?

Same thing happened to me this week-end and we are not alone [1]. The worst is that it's actually the second time on this computer (Kaby Lake i3 on a MB with Intel B250 Chipset). I had the same issue in December last year (exact same behaviour with probably an earlier version of that hotfix).

I'm running with Windows Update service disabled till this is fixed for good !
