The keyboard shortcuts for math input are so nice! I have tried Lyx and Mathtype, and still found GNU TeXmacs better.

There is an important difference between the algorithm and personal career: climbing the other hill has nothing to do with climbing the highest hill, but that's not the case regarding career development. Startups are creating new things and jobs, so how do you know that current jobs would not provide valuable assets in the future?

It should be good to create a "Silicon Valley-Singapore" or "Silicon Valley-Taiwan" ecosystem to bring the startup culture, funding, and people who know local market together. 2. Although “American companies really suck at international expansion and localisation," as said by Werner Vogels, I am afraid that Asian companies do not have much success either? I could only think of NAVER LINE as an example.

I think that's because it hasn't been released yet. The author(s) may just want some feedback or opinions first.

The price is actually higher than some of the cheap smartphones from Asia. What interested me is that CyanogenMod is now an OS of a 'killer' smartphone.

And the author may consider to keep the "quotes of famous people" part near the end or as an appendix.

One argument caught my attention in the article is that the HTML5 approach of Firefox OS is not working.

Actually I prefer the HTML5 approach, but as you said, monetising apps is easier than the web. I believe this is the key issue here.

I also think it's because of their philosophy. We now have VirtualBox, Cygwin, etc. So I think it's OK to keep this philosophy.

Another thing may be that Python is targeted to more general purposes.

I think this research is interesting and based on real data. 5 days after that, we are seeing the funding falling further comparing with the predicted line.

I felt that the "Teach Yourself Programming in Ten Years" was also very helpful.

The situation in other Asian countries like India, Taiwan, or South Korea is nearly the same. There are still some obstables. A different environment and unknown results may be the major ones. People should try to calculate the overall outcome and costs and maybe come up with some good international insurance packages.
