Can’t say I’ve done this recently, but I think if I were doing this today I’d probably install it on the current machine and then boot into recovery mode and reinstall from there.
Does the fact that they released this on WWDC day, a high traffic tech news day, suggest there may be something in here that they're hoping gets overlooked?
@stevespang they don't force you to. There's a button labeled "get the plugin" that takes you to the chrome plug in store. Then below that there's a for labelled "Connect" which allows you to subscribe to their mailing list.
I don't think it's about hiding from FBI inquiries but obscuring the value of data that ISPs, Google, Facebook, et al are collecting and selling without your consent.
Nice! Though it looks like in your version the blink is happening from top-to-bottom as opposed to collapsing in the middle. I like the blink after the toggle, but the actual blink animation in the original in preferable imo.
Really cool. Changing the timeScale value on JS line 33 to 1 slows everything down and makes the animation a little easier to see if you're interested in seeing how the effect works.
If Pokemon Go succeeded in one thing it was validating the value of Nintendo's IP. People clearly want Nintendo products on iOS and Android and there's a much larger market for Nintendo outside their first-party devices.

I get that this is cool because it doesn't require an app or anything to work. But I just don't see this replacing venmo for me. Albeit venmo requires a bit of set up (so does this) and an app, but once that's in place sending money is quicker and easier and I don't have to remember to cc anyone. Thoughts?
