The old text to speech voices are still around in Sequoia. Some have been changed to a generic "my name is x". But most still make their fun little jokes.

Apple has done this since Steve Jobs returned to apple the late 90's, they cut down all of the unnecessary models and products lines that were causing this kind of confusion.
They've kinda gone that way again with sticking the "Pro" and "Max" terms onto everything, especially the iPhone models.
Same thing happened with the windows 11 file explorer icons. I can't tell which icon from a glance is cut, copy and paste since they all look visually the same.

A rare VHS format from 2002 called D-VHS could do 1080p on VHS tapes.
Windows phone used to have this and it was called Continuum. Although it couldn't actually run proper desktop apps, only a few office apps made for it. The promo page for it is still up despite windows phone being dead for a few years now.
youtube-dl is what makes most youtube music ripping sites function. Which are widely used by people who aren't paying for music streaming subscriptions.
I've experienced multiple copies of Spotify on different machines getting forever stuck just showing a blank screen when opened. Although that's probably more Spotifys fault rather than the tools used to build it.

They are cheating by putting it near to a known hash to verify that it works, you can't earn anything off it.

Slightly unrelated, but this is one of this things that annoys me the most about using gmail. Inbox by Gmail used to load instantly, there's really no good reason at all for it to have a loading screen.
It's a lot of small inconsistencies that add up. Like the wifi icon being the wrong size for the amount of spacing it has around it, and also the fact that it's unclear what it actually does without clicking on it.
The spacing in the settings menu in the final screenshot is horrible too, the text gap sizes just change for no reason and the design has two layers of headers that aren't visually distinct enough.
Try right clicking anywhere. Almost everything has it's own fancy right click menu design for no good reason. Personally I don't find it annoying, but it's just silly that such a large company can't just stick to one design.
The web player would just not load subtitles every other video
I had the opposite problem where it would not stop showing subtitles every time I opened a new video. I think it's reading a default provided by the video file and just using that.
Google's biggest source of revenue is from web ads. They deliberately choose to not have extensions on the mobile version as it would mean that users could install ad block extensions, causing them to miss out on potential earnings from mobile ads.

In macos I don't have to edit random .conf files in system/application directories just to make my wifi work correctly. The graphical UI is configurable enough that I rarely need to modify anything outside of my normal user directories.
Where as in ubuntu the forums/stack overflow usually say "go to this file at /sys/whatever and write in this". Hence the need for full file paths.
This is why most linux distros have interfaces that are missing minor features and can be frustrating for users who don't have command line experience. For example, why can't I easily make a shortcut in ubuntu? Or how about the fact that you can't get full file paths shown in the default file manager, I often know what directory I want to get to but have to figure out what maze of folders I have to go through to get there.
Ok, once again. I can write code inside my spreadsheet but not inside my browser? WTF.
Technically you can write code in the dev console, or using javascript bookmarklets which is similar to code in a spreadsheet.
You can do the same on any android phone by opening the google app and tap the lens icon in the search bar.
Here's the same one on youtube with an interview with one of the people who restored it, it's quite an impressive machine.
The Inbox by Gmail version loaded instantly, had inline emails and loads of other cool features that got half-arsed forced into the older gmail codebase.
Google made a superior replacement to the current gmail experience and then just threw it away like it never existed.

and it works better. There's no timer on it, you just set the amount you want it to toast. I'm surprised nobody has ever tried to replicate to it, not even on kickstarter.

The play store appears to not be serving any downloads. Sounds like some serious CDN issues.
Intels marketing is more at fault here. i7 cpus range from slower 4 core 1.8ghz thin and light cpus to high end desktop 8 core 3.5ghz ones.
When the name i7 is mentioned people are more likely to think it's one of the high end desktop processors rather than the mobile processors.
