People will both-sides this, but you are right. When your express purpose and position is to promote unitary executive theory and destroy US democracy, everything is suspect.
Marketplace (APM) has had several discussions about how difficult it is to mess with BLS numbers, but it's only a matter of time as Vought and Heritage make their way into these organizations.
You can't.
For some subset of the population, they are okay with exploitation as long as they are able to exploit someone else that is lower on the capitalist hierarchy.
Along with his zero credibility. Dude torched his career just like Taibbi.
Capital is orders of magnitude more powerful than labor. Until that changes, this story will be repeated.
So that’s where the South Park Epsiode name comes from. Holy cow.
It was here https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45749054 but that comment has been deleted.
I’m sure an anthropologist can clarify, but once a community reaches a certain size, it seems that emergent properties take over.
Who profits from lying about the acceleration of climate change?
It’s not that you can’t tear down the fences. It’s that you studied why they were there in the first place.
I’m reminded of Chesterton’s Fence [1]. I just explained this to a coworker that was proud of indiscriminately eliminating 200+ positions.
What panels do you have? Do you have energy storage as well?
DHS is a counterexample here. It’s huge.
Monolingual used to save gigabytes on OS X.
For those interested in learning more about the cases here, the precedent is referred to as "Chevron" [1] and the case seeking to overturn it this term is Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo [2]. Cafe Insider discussed the case in detail this week [3].

Yikes.
And just living!
Our time is short.
I didn't know this was an investment philosophy when I started investing, but it's exactly the approach I've taken!
Don't take investment advice from strangers and all that, but...
I bought a single share of AAPL in 1/2008. Then another share in 10/2008. I slowly expanded my investment as it split. It's the second-highest performing stock or fund I've owned over that 15yr period ($TSLA is the highest).
$AAPL pays a dividend. Reinvest the dividends and go long.
Has to be.
Maine Brewing Company would make waves.
The industry in Atlanta shifted to these types of beers right around the start of the pandemic. Every brewery here now has a lager, rice lager, or low-abv pale ale. The best is Halfway Crooks [1]!
What’s the best way to find job postings in this industry?
There are plenty of great cordless trimmers and electric power washers. Milwaukee, Greenworks, Ego, Krantzle (for car washing)…I think you should expand your search and look at GPM, not max PSI.
Dark Towers is an excellent read; while it is focused on a single bank, the practices certainly were not unique to Deutsche Bank: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/45730424-dark-towers.
Same here. I graduated college during the financial crisis. It's been a wild ride.
I refinanced with them 2 years ago; they beat my local credit union and several banks at the time. Closing costs were competitive and extremely easy to schedule -- they sent an attorney to my home.
Isn’t that what https://metal.equinix.com/ sells?
Fix the business processes first or you risk codifying bad business processes in the platform.
This is so often overlooked -- Apple's revenue capture of the market is what is astonishing.
In 2019, Apple captured 32% of the global revenue for the mobile phone industry and 66% of all profit in Q3 of 2019 [1]. Asymco used to report on this frequently but I'm having trouble finding recent examples [2].
