Saw the title "Build Jarvis" and laughed to myself thinking yeah right.
Then saw it was a Facebook link and was oh...

Seems like a lot of work to setup. Also, spent several minutes on the docs, and did not one line of code; examples?
Lets be practical, I am sure the actual app - Works without network connection - Metrics (offline syncronization) - User logins - Includes price of iPads themselves? - Involved government and IBM personal
300K sounds about right
Feel there is an underlying meaning here.....
At this point isnt't like asking Microsoft to port over Word to Linux?
Feel there is really no way to prevent this. This was doubtfully uploaded knowingly (or possibly with ignorance). Data dumps occur all the time. As a file, they can too easily be shared. For sure, the school should work on increasing their awareness of handling secure data. But, in the end, nothing would really prevent this from happing again.
would be nice to auto generate these TIL readmes based off personal stack overflow upvotes.
Hey Bob, what is up with the `git push --force master`?
My next cover letter will start with "Most Illustrious Lord". FTW.

Got to love https://github.com/nvbn/thefuck/issues/5
OrderedMap is a Python port of OrderedDict implemented in golang. Fist library/project in go. Feedback welcomed. Settled for the iffy `interface{}` to handle Golang's generics quirks. Makes me uncomfortable with, being that a value of any `type` can be passed in. But yeah, WIP.
Haha, just had this realization myself. Safari -> Firefox.
What???!!
Interested in this article, take up a book "Outliers: The Story of Success" by Malcolm Gladwell
Soooo, no throttling by ISP's is next?
Maybe I should refer to myself as software designer rather than programmer.
I think you should refer to yourself as an Software developer, not a Software Engineer. You can be good by referencing your previous experiences. But knowing how to solve and loving puzzles is a nice sign that this individual can solve problems quick and efficiently. This latter case is less common though. Most programmers are Software Developers, just referencing sdk's and frameworks and minor "new" development.
For a second I thought this said C# interpreter written in Lua....but yeah..
Shouldn't this included iPad too comparisons too, since it includes the Nvida shield? Else, the Nvida shield should probably not be up there.
There is such a thing as an Software Engineer, what you are getting confused with is an Software Developer. Engineers do require deep knowledge of the language and hardware at the register level, all the way up. Developers just download an SDK and hack off some app that is patched together. Big difference that one word makes. I would like to think myself as a Developer, working towards becoming an Engineer.
Wouldnt the unique identifier or Auth token be the password? Sure it is more convenient for the User not having to remember there password, but it is not necessarily more secure.
Went walking today, left the audiobooks at home...
Does this mean somewhere, somehow Ender's "mind game" is being developed? I would even settle for some battle simulator game...pretty please.
What if Motorola so that next storage upgrade or screen? And modern desktops are built to be modular from the start. Why not have a motherboard in form factor of a smart phone device.
damn. would have really like to see an Nokia based android phone.
Agreed. There is no bonus here. Now if you can hot switch between tabs, or rather use some key shortcuts to better manage the switching, that would bee good.
I would have to agree. Most of my social activities are with my classmates and coworkers, all between 10am-5pm. I code better after a good nights rest. Totally going to give this a shot.
