As for the nano glass, I ordered an anti reflective screen protector from a local Dutch supplier. It works fantastic on my 16". I do programming though, no color-sensitive photo or video work.

On one hand, I agree because it seems there's a host of very deceptive things going on.

But I see some positive things as well, from the article: "assistance with romantic reconciliation", "preventing revenge porn", "help a wronged spouse collect consolation money" and "obtain evidence of adultery".

The whole project sounds fantastic, I hadn't heard about it yet. The casing looks boxy but that makes it hackable of course.

YouTube tracks you regardless, if I understand correctly. For instance, if you search on DuckDuckGo and there's a YouTube video in the results, you can play it right there. However, DuckDuckGo warns you that you'll be tracked.

I broke down and started paying for YouTube. Another 12 bucks :) On the laptop, I block ads, but on the tablet, I like to use the official app.

That's with the 40 kWh version. I believe the 50 kWh version has the same charge curve, but obviously gets you farther.

You can get much faster there if you charge more often and stop around 60-70%. On long trips, I take a lot of margin, which isn't necessary if you drive to somewhere you know really well (say, a second home) and which has plenty of chargers.

I have to admit, I'm a bit in love with this car. So I'm perhaps overly positive.

I've driven the Zoe on a daily commute that's 160 km (100 mi). It's a fantastic car.

I've also driven it from The Netherlands to France, 1000 km (621 mi). Then you get into a problem that the charging time from 10-80% takes a full hour, and it's necessary about 5 times for that distance. I personally still thought it was a fun trip.

I think you guys are richer, to be honest.

Edit: I replied too fast. I looked it up on Wikipedia and the "purchasing power parity" isn't all that different between, say, Netherlands and Norway. So I can't really explain it.

Yup, me too. I set up the iPad, tap recording and then unpack the ordered item. It's zero hassle and potentially saves a lot of discussion.

I don't know about your country, but in my country, you would be generalizing. There isn't a specific "investor class" because a large percentage of the population invests due to industry-wide organized pension funds.

You'll get better answers if you tell us more details. What platforms? You don't even specify desktop or mobile. What kind of product? B2B or consumer? Have you measured usage per platform? Is support of the platform critical for sales, or is it really something done on principle? What toolkit do you use? Can some platforms be served with a light version of the product?

Which programming language do you want to get back into? Perhaps people can point you to good guides for a particular language.

Also, I wonder why you can't just skip certain parts, or maybe just go through the rote exercises. When I wanted to learn SwiftUI, I still ran through the extreme basics. Who cares? It's not the worst chore.

I have an old Windows mini PC, which is based on a single core Atom CPU. Clicking the Settings button will take multiple seconds to launch the Settings app. I wonder if Windows on the RPi will fare better.

I don't experience the sadness that the writer of the blog mentions. However I do understand what they mean. Personally, I've decided I don't really like huge projects, and instead have focused on smaller iOS apps. They don't have dependencies, except for what the Apple platform offers. There's a backend, but it's really abstracted away for me through a RESTful API. And I'm able to continually and without fail, deliver something of value to my customer.

From what I understand, most glider clubs are always looking for new members. Maintenance of the winch, gliders and landing strip is expensive and more members means sharing the costs. One in my province has "introduction days" where you can sit in a two-person glider, in front of an instructor, for a small price or even free.

I also have a VPN but guess what, my torrents are nicely showing. I've recently been using BiglyBT, a clone of the old Azureus torrent client. But apparently if something is wrong with the SOCKS proxy, BiglyBT defaults simply skipping the proxy :(
