It hasn't really changed much in the mastering process, they still are doing the same old compression. Maybe not the to the same extremes, but dynamic range is still usually terrible. They do it a a higher LUFS target than the streaming platforms normalize to because each streaming platform has a different limit and could change it at any time, so better to be on the safe side. Also the fact that majority of music listening doesn't happen on good speakers/environment.

I am not sure how its only a political decision when they don't have control of their own airspace. How exactly do they rebuild when as soon as they start they get bombed. I think its more accurate to say it WAS a political decision. They had the capability but did not pursue it due to the fallout of doing so. The question its do they still retain the capability and will they ever be allowed to reclaim that capability if they lost it.

Same here. Whatever I do could not be defined as traditional touch typing but it kind of works. I definitely do not look at the keyboard at all but my fingers kind of just hover over the keyboard instead of resting on the home row.

They don't actually have any jurisdiction in this case. Launches from Vandendberg are from a military base and while they do try to work with the California commission they ultimately are the ones that decide what does and does not get launched.

Not sure how the state population is relevant, the vast majority of people living in Arizona live in the Phoenix metropolitan area which is where these new fabs are being built. The population size for that area is also around 5 million. Also, how is immigration between countries in Europe easier than immigration between states in the US. That is simply not possible when the US has no language/cultural barriers.

None of this should be an issue anyway, no one has any trouble linking discord server invites. Add the ability to easily link your user profile. Or even better, friend invites. Discord already has single use invites for servers. I doubt this change has anything to do with friend invites, they want to start adding features of other social media networks instead of just being a chat platform.

No one in the public knows what those are but most people have heard of ChatGPT at this point.

This absolutely was not casually sharing a link that happened to be on another platform. It was an announcement about quitting twitter and an advertisement on where he could be found on a competing platform.

It is straight up the EXACT scenario that the policy was put in place for.

I think it is gone again, but after reading the article you linked it makes sense why it is coming and going.

"Users are able to vote on whether the fact-checks are helpful or not. They can appear or disappear based on how many people found them to be helpful, Twitter's Vice President of Product Keith Coleman said Friday."
