No function pointers? That severely restricts the utility of the language…

At least in France if you have a serious accident there’s a technical examination of your car. If the insurance company finds out you tampered your car software (debridage) you’re left without any coverage.

Built my own music player for mac which I use every day. I have a large collection of ripped mp3s and I wanted to control exactly where they are stored, order in which they are played (album order) etc. It just snowballed from there with other features.

I do use it a lot. Some of the infuriating things: * scrolling back past last day conversation doesn’t work properly, you have to wait a few seconds then text is rendered in such a way that you lose track where you were * worse latency with each month for receiving messages. I’m logged on multiple machines and messages come with random delays * even after joining a call my other Teams instance will still ring for some time…

Even more exercising. I’m doing a half-ironman in Deauville next year. I do fine in swimming and running, but I still need to train for the biking part.

I gave up on OVH after my VPS burned to ashes.

I try to do at least 8Km of swimming in 4-5 sessions and run at least twice a week around 9Km. I did two sprint triathlons in 2021 and train for an olympic one this year (Deauville).
