Lags the hell out of my browser (Safari) window though.
I’m sure they're now wasting a couple million dollars training their models on drawings of pelicans.
Dead internet theory.
I, for lack of a better word, dislike anyone who anthropomorphizes AI.
`GIT_CURL_VERBOSE=1 git pull` with a two line diff is reporting about ~9 seconds spent waiting on the git-upload-pack response from GitHub after the request body was fully sent:

Claude is responsible for the rewrite.
This text is regurgitated on a daily basis. I skimmed through the text and could tell not only that but also that the author has given up on writing altogether.
I think harder about the real problems
Are you /really/? If an LLM gives you an immediate, coherent answer, there's a risk you accept the framing too quickly instead of doing the harder work of questioning premises, testing alternatives and noticing what might be missing.
You might want to throw that one away :)
Bot comment.
I feel like we're now at a point where that's a hot take.
I feel like every single day OpenAI and Anthropic are entrenching their slopware in everyday products and workplaces with little to no way to opt-out. This is getting dystopian.
Modding GTA:V.
Couldn’t some of them be given the opportunity to adapt to new priorities or ways of working?
They could. You should be asking whether they want to or not.
Getting laid off in this job market is absolutely terrifying.
Hope everyone affected land on their feet.
I'd add a third point: record service usage.

Impressive indeed!
Claude is now at 98.97% uptime.
Software engineering is solved.
I'm sure absolutely nothing will come of Anthropic's open-source acquisitions. Totally harmless, I'm sure.

Input: Navy Seal copy pasta.
Output:
I’m thrilled to share that I’ve consistently delivered high-impact results throughout my career, including graduating at the top of my class in the Navy Seals and leading numerous high-stakes, confidential operations. With over 300 successful outcomes, I’ve honed my expertise in strategic "gorilla" engagement and precision targeting as a top-tier specialist in the US armed forces.
I approach every challenge with unparalleled focus and a commitment to excellence that is truly world-class. If you think you can challenge my professional integrity online, let’s have a conversation. I’m currently leveraging my extensive national network and data-tracking capabilities to ensure full accountability.
Prepare for a major shift, because I’m ready to disrupt the status quo. I offer 24/7 availability and over seven hundred ways to deliver solutions—even without additional resources. Beyond my core competencies in direct engagement, I have full access to the United States Marine Corps' entire suite of tools to ensure your project is completely overhauled.
If you had anticipated the significant professional feedback your "clever" comment would trigger, you might have chosen a more collaborative approach. But since you didn't, we are now moving into the accountability phase. I am prepared to bring an intense level of passion to this interaction. Looking forward to seeing you transition out of the picture. #Leadership #ResultsDriven #Accountability #Disruption
AI slop.
I started working on Rio[0], a modern TypeScript HTTP client for Node.js 24+, Deno and Bun. It's built on the native `fetch` API and fully type-safe from request to response. It's still very much a work in progress but I'm working towards an alternative to fetch/Axios/ky I wish I had.
If TechLayoffLover reported it, it must be true. No one else is reporting it, which makes it even more convincing.
I'd say making money consistently is more about being a good businessman than just being a good developer. Understand your market, validate demand before building (and build incrementally), have a clear sales/marketing plan and choose trustworthy partners carefully.
