How do you handle logging then? If f() calls g(), how can I add logging to g() without having to change or recompile f() (and everything in the call stack above it)? ‘You can’t’ is not an acceptable answer.

This feels like a restatement of the trivially obvious observation that, if your type system is Turing complete, you're going to run into the halting problem.
Because making every jet engine in two different models would make them a lot more expensive. It would also cause maintenance issues because of non-interchangeable parts.
I'm in Australia, you're Swedish (but I don't know if your business is based there), and most web sites show US prices by default. So I wouldn't like to guess whether it was meant to be AUD, USD, or SEK.
I like this and would seriously consider buying it - except that the purchase page only has prices in something called "AA$". I have no idea what currency that refers to (AA is Aruba, but they don't use dollars), or how much that might come to in my local currency.

Oh my god thank you. I've been trying to wrap my head around the whole async/await paradigm for years, basically writing code based on a few black magic rules that I only half understand, and you finally made it all clear in once sentence. Why all those other attempts to explain async/await don't just say this I can't imagine.

Well, what actually killed it historically was AMD64. AMD64 could easily not have happened, AMD has a very inconsistent track record; other contemporary CPUs like Alpha were never serious competitors for mainstream computing, and ARM was nowhere near being a contender yet. In that scenario, obviously mainstream PC users would have stuck with x86-32 for much longer than they actually did, but I think in the end they wouldn't have had any real choice but to be dragged kicking and screaming to Itanium.

1. Facebook has more than 10 times as many users as Twitter. They don't need to add new users, they just need to make it easy for FB users to also use Threads.
2. But the whole point here is that others aren't doing this any more. Threads isn't supposed to be an innovation, just a Twitter replacement. Twitter is dying, Mastodon is too complicated for non-geeks, BlueSky could have been a contender but they didn't get their act together quickly enough.
3. You're in a geek information bubble here. On the scale of social media, almost nobody cares about that sort of thing. I'd bet money that the overwhelming majority of FB users have never even heard of Zuckerberg.

The big problem with AI R&D is that nobody can keep up with the big bux companies. It makes this kind of project a bit pointless. Even if you can run a GPT3-equivalent on a web browser, how many people are going to bother (except as a stunt) when GPT4 is available?
