Exactly this. Complaining about auto-tune is a self report to not understanding what the loaded umbrella term means. Every artist adds some amount of pitch correction to their voice just like they add some level of compression to their voice.

At Repod, our goal is to empower people to discover, listen, and share great podcasts. Podcasts are unique in that they inspire us, help us learn something new, or captivate us with the way stories are told. Yet, all of these experiences are rarely shared with one another. By connecting people with an easy way to share and discuss podcasts, Repod helps people find and listen to great podcasts.
Currently, we are a two person team (2 cofounders) and are looking for our 1st full-time team member by way of mobile engineer. We are in the midst of a public beta and will be launching in the near future.
As the lead mobile engineer at Repod, you'll initially be working in our main repo developing and launching new features. Repod is built using React Native and relies heavily on a native audio player built in Swift/Java. As we expand our product, you’ll help inform the technologies used in our future growth. The team is small, which means your impact on the company’s success will be instrumental.
We have one requirement — must love podcasts.

The web and iOS app are both really buttery. Hat's off to your product team I'm sure they will continue to produce quality. Seems the make or break it here will be the community and the sticky-ness.
What is your strategy to onboard and retain a community that will be comparable to YC's Bookface? (assuming that's the goal)

If you decide to move here, it means you probably have more ambition than average. Consider that everybody else you’ll meet in the Bay Area will share that with you.

Why only do real estate? Why not do landing pages for simple physical products, enterprise SaaS software or mobile apps. Real question though what do people actually use for the above ?
When driving through south bay I noticed several buildings with red rope in place of where they would have another story or two on the building. Turns out the bay area has very strick rules around building too tall and disrupting flight patterns of birds. Probably one of many reasons they haven't built massively upward.
I grew up in the Bay Area and got a feel for the tech sector up there. People always throw around the "network" argument out there for why they decided to move up. Truth is you can get just as much networking in if you move to an emerging tech hub along with positioning yourself better by more easily establishing yourself/buying cheaper property. I'm looking at you Portland, San Diego, and Denver.
