Alexander the Great once came across some Indian sages in a meadow who were discussing philosophy. When these sages saw Alexander and his army, their only reaction was to stamp their feet loudly on the ground. When asked what they meant by this odd behavior, they replied:

“King Alexander, everyone can possess only so much of the earth’s surface as this we are standing on. You are human like the rest of us, except you are always busy and up to no good, traveling so many miles from your home, a nuisance to yourself and to others. Ah well! You will soon be dead, and then you will own just as much of this earth as needed to bury you.”

A tool for simplification, it would have been, but I can tell you that I would have preferred a more tormented, enigmatic and deep expression of Language as a medium, for I believe that "Words are but symbols for the relations of things to one another and to us; nowhere do they touch upon the absolute truth."

@geist, is derived from the German word for "spirit", uses OpenAI ChatML to configure the ChatGPT API to respond to prompts in the voice of the creator. Includes two geists: @nietzsche + @siddhartha.

ChatML documents consists of a sequence of messages. Each message contains a header and contents. The current version (ChatML v0) can be represented with a JSON format.
