Now here is a new problem: The other side wins. The examples are that there are no consequences of the debate, which is great. But in reality, there are consequences (some of them are negative) if you lose the debate, e.g., job interview.

I would have to agree with this. But I'd like to point out that recruiters should evaluate whether the job candidate is capable of doing their job rather than what format their CV is in.

Don't give hate a chance, guys. Just ask people to use `editor` to edit text files, it will open the default editor on their OS (at least Debian).

Our goal is to ask others to edit some text files, not to ask them to use what tool to edit those files.

Cheers.

There is little usability in Gnome, just I think it is better.

I'd recommend you take it, but you should definitely take some CS undergraduate classes too to have a solid foundation, either not for credits or required by the CS department.

It will be easier to find jobs in Chemistry industry where CS jobs are available, like data scientist.

If you care less, community college is actually also a good choice.

Another important metric is the Time to First Byte (TTFB).

How about 10ms club?

"Only about 5% of our customers use that much."

If only 5% uses 1.2TB each month, why would Comcast want to impose the cap to everyone?

Comcast has already made enough money and this move has nothing but against social good.

I am an international student from China in US. If you ever go to China, you will find how affordable Internet (or Phone Data plans) is. And it is even affordable in sparsely-populated rural areas, unlike the US rural areas I've heard of.

These big private companies are just lagging US behind and the country cannot do anything with it.

There has been many rounds of talks since 2014 when ASEAN countries proposed this. There must be some exposures during the past 6 years. The agreement now needs each country's domestic approval, so you can still have a say in it. The agreement is not in effect yet.
