I don't see how the frameworks solve anything more than organising some tasks in a sequence. The underlying tasks still have to be idempotent.

Tanha is about wholesome and unwholesome desires, ie those that lead to or dont lead to liberation. Its not about desires that do or do not change you, as this article is categorizing it.

Screenshots preserve exactly what the user sees, and for this reason i believe they are the best format for evidence. They also preserve their look when your messaging software starts doing funny things with it. They are immune to accidental edits. They are reliable in the sense that if the original source ever changed, no one would argue that you didnt see what you saw with a screenshot. They wont degrade when the content of a url changes.

We do use screenshots extensively, but alongside links and copied text when necessary

This reminds me of dependent origination from Buddhism.

I suspect the reason is because Buddhism is lumped in with the other major world religions, and therefore considered a form of faith or belief. If the author knew Buddhism well then they would realise that couldn't be further from the truth.

Another possibility has occurred to me: they know Buddhism but don't want to scare away readers that have the above misconception. Actually I often find myself avoiding Buddhist terminology when I'm asked about my meditation practices.

I find the simulation argument is little different in nature to the argument that because something exists, someone (a god) must have made it.

And I think humans are highly susceptible to creating explanations without evidence.

I think avoid them. I have worked in maybe 10 different companies as a consultant and I get the feeling that the grit required is often needed to deal with poor internal practices or systems. If the work is simply hard, that to me should translate to needed skilled workers, not gritty ones.
