Regulation is the reason the EU can't become a hub for startups.

Despite what these “studies” say, the Amazon is NOT near a tipping point of destruction. In fact, it’s not even close. These publications fail to disclose that these fires are seasonal and will continue to happen without man-interference. These so-called protection of the Amazon is part of an agenda rich countries have to keep Brazil uncompetitive. How about we start rebuilding green space in Western Europe? How about we start planting more trees in southern California?
The goal is to get more people involved. Doesn't it make sense to lower the entry barrier by implementing a more popular syntax?
Why does Mozilla insist on Pocket?
Your comment makes no sense. What does tax negotiation have to do with chaos responsibility and privacy breach?
Any beta testers here able to confirm whether Terminal.app supports True Color now?
Classic hostility on HN. I'm out, I'll go find my tribe.
You do control what clients (think client_id/secret) can use your APIs. Don't you? You figure it out from there.
Seriously?
Why not just "invalidate" the client? At best, you're making your application "safe" for 900ms or whatever the expiry date is.
Nope. The OP is talking about cultural appropriation as if Quebec and Canada were 2 different places. They’re not.
Yes. I don't understand the surprise.
Last time I checked Quebec reaped the benefits of Alberta's oil sands... didn't they?
Every support ticket on Apple's forum is breaking news now.[0]

their team (managers and developers) are all over twitter and reddit trying to explain the privacy violations away
That's literally their jobs as Chrome evangelists. They're just doing what they're told.
Brazil does not have provinces, it has states and territories.
Added Canadian English (en-CA) locale
Not bad, Eh?!
iCloud doesn’t get a lot of love around here, but it’s been one of the most stable cloud services that I’ve been using for the past couple of years or so. It really lives up to Apple’s motto of “it just works”
Take the 2nd and 3rd biggest cities in Canada (Montreal and Vancouver respectively) as an example. These places are meccas of cycling in North America. Generalizing Canada's cities is so typical of Torontonians, while their own city is the exception when it comes down to traffic and gun violence.
Toronto was designed for cars, not Canada's cities. Toronto just happens to be one of them.
Mind providing an example?
Funny how this climbed to the top on HN, without anyone knowing what this is exactly.
Have you seen Apple’s quarterly profits?
No sarcasm. I'm genuinely curious about it. You gotta admit that most customers would take the former over the latter though. Less than 1% of their user-base needs a laptop with 128+GB of RAM.
I think you're referring to power users. 99% of their customers are fine with Apple's new offerings.
But what about battery life?
performant != polished
I'm sorry, but I see this as uncalled-for cynicism for the sake of it. Can you point me to an alternative to Apple hardware that is as polished and solid as Apple's MacBooks?
I use Tmux, so this is the first time I notice it. Wow!
I wonder if Terminal.app now supports True Color.
