Didn't even realize, maybe we'll put in an app!

I did YC back in S16 and was just reminiscing with a friend about how startups felt so different back then.

Hi everyone,

This is James, one of the co-founders for InLoop. We are launching InLoop Connect today, a way to add NFT & token verification to your project with just a snippet of code.

Basically, you tell us which NFTs or ERC-20 tokens to look for, and InLoop Connect securely returns which tokens are held by your users.

We built this because after we launched an NFT membership platform, the most requested feature from our users has been a way to verify token ownership in their own app.

Their train of thought was "Now that I've tokenized my community, how do I deliver custom benefits to members"? Some examples we heard were discounts on merch, cosmetics/badges, and access to virtual spaces.

We are planning to work on more integrations in the future with Shopify, Wordpress and Discord, so that it'll be even easier for communities to provide utility to their members.

Hey Kriro! We didn't know there was going to be a photo taken and Adam & I just happened to wear the same shirt haha. For the skill sets, you are right. I've done a couple of BD internships in the valley, and for the non-profit, I helped with planning, recruiting and fundraising!

re: Twitch, Most of these streamers interact with their communities and build fan-bases through multiple platforms, Discord, Twitch, Twitter, Youtube, our goal is to link these communities together and encourage interaction in all of them.

Re: monetization, We wouldn't ask the streamers or viewers to pay for the product. Our integration into content creates a lot of native ads opportunities that are a lot less disruptive to the audience. We have had good interest from brands and will be experimenting with them soon.

re: farming. It's honestly something that we haven't found a really good solution to yet. It's the same issue in television where you never know if someone is passively watching or just not there. We built in features like contests and bonus points system for things for trivia so that active viewers are rewarded with more points. Combined with quantity limits and periodic resets, this has been a solution on a couple of channels. We are looking into more ways to do it better with less effort from a streamers side, open to any suggestions you may have!

Thanks for sharing. I agree with doing the unconventional, and I think it comes down to making a very clear case to the founders that you can add value off the bat when joining the company. Given the limited time and resources, it's hard for the company to pass on hustlers who can get shit done right away.

Seems like the difference is in the quality. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they are a bit pricier than the above, and seems to serve fancier food? I'm wondering if there is a market for slightly better quality/higher priced delivery food...

Yep agreed, same confusion here. TechCrunch seems to cite the slow response to Cyberbullying criticism as one of the reasons for Secret's downfall, but doesn't YikYak have the same problem, if not worse with college students?? What gives?
