I'm a loyal lastpass user, but this is the first that I'm hearing about this. After reading their detailed documentation ( http://helpdesk.lastpass.com/lastpass-credit-monitoring/ ) I think it sounds pretty damn cool.

10 bucks a month is a bit, but the features seem like it might be worth it. The free tier providing alerts for things like address changes, new accounts and etc also seems very helpful--and geared towards the security minded people that Lastpass already attracts.

I agree that credit check sites are notoriously scammy, but this actually seems like a good additional to a good service.

I know a few others doing freelance design work, and they're also pretty good. They are doing very well, but I think the market for freelance programmers is a different story right now.

Also has an excellent plugin, snippet, and configuration system. I just really wish it was open source.

Good article with some good points. But it did get me thinking, is Perl getting ready to be in a prime position to become the next Cobol? Probability will go up considerably if Perl 6 never comes out to shake up the ecosystem, but even if it does come, what's to say that there won't be Perl 5 applications running into the next century?

Combine its shorthand and with the fact that it's already getting hard to find Perl people, and we could see some dedicated Perl warriors doing very, very well in the coming years.

It may help to use some keyboard shortcuts. I found myself going for the arrow keys to turn pages and the escape button to close stories.

As long as it doesn't have words, I listen to any genre of music that fits my mood. Sometimes white noise does the trick as well.

Somewhat related: I've found audio of rain, wind, chimes, rivers, but never any ambient people noise--i.e. groups walking around on the street and talking in the distance.

I believe he means using your gmail address allows you to use youremail+itunesrecoveryemail@gmail.com and it will appear to be a different email to iTunes.

You could also use hotmail/lives 'disposable' emails to achieve the same ends.

I only saw it once a while ago, but I don't think they were portrayed as 'bad guys' in the film. They even came out in support of how their story was told in the movie.

I may very well have enough experience for a steady coding job, as I have had an entry level coding job before. But, there were never a lot of coding jobs in my area, and even less so since the recession came in.

I'm in the early stages of starting mindfulness meditation. Would you recommend one form of meditation over another for dealing with guilt?

Much like you did, I researched the hell out of this. And after a lot of reading I determined it would be best to take meds in combination with talk therapy (CBT in my case). Happily, this worked, and I'm no longer on anything other than the occasional Xanax.

That is very true, and I forget about this fact when thinking about all that time that's been, as you say, pissed away.
