Reasoning from first-principles:

Autism is a neurological disorder where you have more island neurons than long reaching connected neurons.

Vaccines can't cross the blood brain barrier, thereby they can't cause autism. Simply ruled out. Acetaminophen on the other hand is a drug that numbs the brain. It can at least feasibly have an influence.

Next, let's think about painkillers. They numb pain. Pain is linked to far reaching memories and connections. Again, plausible.

Sometimes a crazy man says something true.

I would like to buy one for my company without prescription glasses. For employees with vision impairment, contact lenses are the preferred option. Do contact lenses work with the apple vision pro? Does anyone know this?

The main problem is bad people, people who put shareholder value above all else. However, another big problem is good people leaving when bad things happen. At some point only bad people remain at a company and this will be the fait of Google at some point.

We have a similar thing in Switzerland but it’s not only done by the Hotel but mostly by the train organisation SBB. Someone will pick up your luggage from your home (costs about 50$) or you can deposit it at your local train station (30$). Then on the day of your flight you don’t need to worry about your luggage and on your flight back you can specify to which train station or home they should deliver your suitcase. https://www.sbb.ch/en/station-services/before-your-journey/l...

I absolutely love D’s contracts with pre and postconditions. These I can simulate in other languages however. The invariant is where D really shines imo. Also the fact that you can overwrite the r value constructor, move constructor and cooy constructor are great ideas and the static function support is also good!

In the second part of the essay the writer mentions the statisticians fallacy. "Adding more hyperparameters leads to overfitting." This is not true with large neural networks anymore and is part of the magic.
