I visited their fab in Israel. Amazing place and they are Israel's top high tech employee.

This is highly technical, high R&D stuff. Only their fabs in the US and a few other places (Israel, Ireland) can do that. But, in Israel they get preferential tax treatment (because otherwise they will leave and go to Ireland or the US).

So I wonder what would have happened had Trump not been president, or alternatively, what tax breaks he promised.

How long is it going to take the employees to leave - especially the best ones?

Employees are motivated by intrinsic motivations such as feeling valued. These little things help it. Sadly, the CEOs need to go back to business school and re-learn organizational behavior.

Have you done marketing? Do you have a marketing plan? Who is your target audience - your first buyer? Ads don't help if the people who are likely to buy from a no name (regardless of quality) don't know about you.

First thing is to develop a marketing plan - target audience/first market, then promotional channels, price (cheaper isn't always better - if you are priced like a cheap Chinese knock off but are high quality Italian fashion, I won't trust your claim), and product - which you are working on

Sell. Will make it easier for you to raise money on your next company and even if you sell at a discount (say $1m exit or even less), don't disclose the terms, and you will have a much easier time in the future.

Product is NOT enough. However, you need to look at marketing holistically. In business school they teach the "4Ps of marketing." One is Promotion. Another, though, is product.

You need all of them (price and place are the other two Ps) to have a successful startup company.

Just FYI, you can get a $5000 scholarship, if you're accepted. Just tell them you saw it on Hacker News & you want the "Bring a Friend" scholarship.

And the copywriting of the website is very different than the program, which includes professors from Oxford, Columbia, LBS, INSEAD (Dan Kahenemann's thesis advisor!) and the Technion
