Pyrethrin is poison
to whom and at what dose? It's a paralytic nerve agent, so scary!! But mostly to bugs...
"mammals are able to process pyrethrin quickly and have higher body temperatures which prevent pyrethrin from working effectively"
I corrected it with links
it should be reasonably expected that you can give a source and fix an error in the AI output.
I would even go as far as to say if a human directly told the AI "no, use 7.6 as the latest version", the AI should absolutely follow direct instructions no matter what it thinks is true. What if this human was working on a slide about the upcoming release of 7.6 that has no public documentation?
If you can't read, why comment?
It is unclear which Apple products Intel would make chips for, according to the report. Intel and Apple declined to comment.
I do agree that Costco's can be laid out pretty differently and I get confused. My home Costco flows in a circle where you first see:
1. appliances/bedding/toothbrushes 2. alcohol 3. refrigerated foods with the bakery/meat department 4. cleaning products and flats of drinks 5. dry foods
when this cycle is broken or changed in a different Costco I am visiting, I feel VERY lost
are you not describing "toxic and superficial" ? I specifically take issue with pre-judgement based on clothes, cars, and logos.
Greatly detailed here:

In this case, Pepsi has reduced promotions and increased wholesale cost for "small groceries" which in this case was a regional grocer with ~1000 of stores across 10 states. If Pepsi is strong arming regional giants like that, imagine how the ant of a real local grocer feels. They are algorithmically getting destroyed
I assume that is on purpose, you have to buy prints. Curious if the full res digital would be for sale but I am guessing not
I think your definition of excellent and perfect teeth is in reality just "perfectly adequate" for their job of eating. If you don't care about the optics of your smile then sure, your body is going to find a way to place your teeth and jaw so you can still eat...
Mission statements are only there to resonate with people, so that part is working. If the mission doesn't make money, they aren't gonna do it just because it matches a statement
if that is even possible
yes.... any administration can be found guilty of violating law, and should be dealt with accordingly.
as a 31 year old, I only just last year learned that what I have thought were floppy disks and everyone calls a floppy disk are indeed a stiffy...
This is also the coolest thing you can do for a rooted webOS tv:
https://github.com/satgit62/How-to-Install-and-set-up-Ambili...
doesn't need to go through another device to capture the HDMI, it's built right in!
unbelievably in depth channel, love all of the local business interviews (from other videos with restaurants and such)
what tariffs started two years ago? And how might those compare to the current tariffs being threatened/pulled/enabled in the past few months?
that is remarkably different from building your own CELLS. You are building your own pack in whatever series and parallel configuration you want. Which i agree is fun and a good skill
huh, does everyone forget this happened?
If you think (insert thing here) is genuinely evil, you might be inclined to rid the world of it. It may even make you seem like a better person (to god, to others in the same camp) because you are "cleansing" or "healing" the world through those efforts. It's self righteous
link to the actual report:
https://hbbf.org/sites/default/files/2025-05/Arsenic-in-Rice...
This rang my "fraud" detector in my head:
1. a random .org site that sounds too much like rah rah save the children
2. spammed across many news sites and reddit and now hacker news all in a short time span
but after reading the report it seems pretty good
The take-away I got was buy rice grown in California, Thailand, or India. Soak beforehand if you really want to reduce bad stuff
uh.. AI/LLMs were created to be smart, and they sometimes meet that expectation. We did not create parrots, we just get surprised when they show off intelligence
that is a crazy read, thanks for the added links. I wonder if these effects are all because it was trained on the internet, and the internet is generally outspoken on the left side?
how have you been able to use it at festivals? I tried it once and maybe the default settings are terrible but no communication could be achieved. There were dozens of other nodes that it found in a tight space and I think the entire network was saturated with pings/messages that I couldn't get mine to work. Are there settings to change that get around network saturation issues?

Last year I went to a karaoke dance floor club thing in NYC k-town and I saw literal burn marks on the wall. A spinning laser disco thing continuously traced across the burn mark. I got our group the hell out of there but they only agreed to leave because it was too loud
immediately explained in the beginning of this great video:
can that really be counted as a coin anymore... it's just a 10kg cylinder with a nice pattern
agreed, any drowsy things seem to turn off weird parts of my brain but im left feeling like an awake zombie
that seems to be associated with benadryl:
https://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/common-anticholinergic-d...
which is sometimes used for it's drowsy effect. cetirizine/loratidine are non-drowsy and I don't see any association known with dementia
