Strange considering how venerated Sony was by American business leaders. Steve Jobs even tried to convince Apple to adopt corporate uniforms like Sony's.

I ran into this issue several years ago. After complaining, MS allowed me to send email to MS properties (hotmail, live.com), but continued to block my email to their Office 365 clients.
I now use AWS SES to handle mail delivery. It's free for up to 200 daily messages which is fine for me.
I've been using https://domains.google/ for years. $12/year/domain. Email forwarding is included. I don't even know if they charge extra for anything else.
You could say the same thing about Steve Jobs or Thomas Edison. Good luck convincing folks neither is a genius.
Jesus. How did they get away with genocide?
And then AQ Khan sold nuke know-how to Iran and North Korea. Play stupid games...
I think the fear is that the Basilisk will have access to our past records and will be able to determine if we've been naughty or nice.
What is this guy talking about? TARP funds wound up costing only $19B and no new taxes were levied on the middle class.
I replaced ice cream with soy smoothies. Frozen fruit, vanilla soy milk, vanilla yogurt, and vanilla bean paste. I put all of the ingredients in a large glass and mix them with a hand blender. Easy to make and clean. The bean paste makes it taste more like an ice cream shake. I also combine peanut butter, cocoa powder, chocolate syrup, soy milk and yogurt for a chocolate alternative.
Like GeoCities?
Of course. The purpose of a business is to generate a profit. Anything else is a con. You might as well post an interview with the founders of Kozmo.
The IRS doesn't recognize that business model. If a business has no expectation of making a profit, then it's a hobby.
Neither ONEList nor Bloglines had any revenue. Why are they considered "successful" companies?
Shout out to Larry Winget. The economy went down the tubes after they canceled Big Spender.
MIT did a similar report in the 90s. I read it and found that they were claiming that HP was an MIT company (Hewlett and Packard met at Stanford).
I couldn't find a list of companies in the latest report, but I would take it with a grain of salt.
The Slashdot entry on this story is skeptical.
You didn't address my point. Can you think of any writer who improved his skills by learning a different language? Can you think of a mathematician who improved his skills by learning a different notational system? Did Michael Jordan become a better basketball player after playing minor league baseball?
I think it's better to stick with what you're familiar with.
To use books and written languages as an example, can anyone name a writer who suddenly wrote better books when he switched to a different language?
Invest 100% of your money in small-cap/value funds. They do best in the long run.
Invest 100% of your money in BRICs (Brazil, Russia, India, China). They have large, youthful populations with better prospects than America, Europe, or China.
I'm afraid that I don't know of any small-cap/value, BRIC funds. If anyone knows of any, I'd appreciate a pointer. Thanks.
We use Bank of America. They offer online payroll for $15/month. Free if you pay with direct deposit and all of your employees have BofA accounts. They will prepare and file fedaral and state tax forms and payments as well. That's a very good deal.
We use Quickbooks online (QBOE). Clunky interface. MSIE only. But it's a webapp (don't worry about backups).
We use PayPal for credit cards. They are not "unprofessional" and their API is simpler than any bank or merchant company that I know of.
I second the Rsync recommendation. I back up our servers every 15 minutes with it. In the event of a catastrophe, we will have lost 15 minutes worth of data, at most.
