I wonder if Salesforce will be getting a similar letter: https://twitter.com/Benioff/status/1658551937971916800

There are dozens upon dozens of companies doing exactly this sort of service for AWS. And they all use the describe API calls requiring IAM permissions.
Cloudflare seems to encourage benchmarks of Workers Sites:
Any plans to expand the region availability for AWS beyond us-west-2 in the US? I am interested in us-east-2.
It's even worse than that because Azure has block blobs, page blobs, and append blobs.
Good explanation! Helped my understanding of their choices. :)
A big turn off for me is wanting to use Python on Cloudflare Workers and then reading that it needs to compile to JavaScript.

I can't believe that there's no mention of AWS Graviton in the article or in the comments on HN.
AWS-designed silicon has Intel running scared. Ampere is working with the other cloud providers on comparable initiatives.
Intel being obviated in the cloud is a real possibility.
I can make excellent NY style pizza at 550F with a Baking Steel in 4 1/2 minutes.
I just wish Apple would offer a native iSCSI initiator.
Hi. I made a thing and could really use some feedback.
You can use Perspect to build e-commerce sites that are static in nature, but add checkout capabilities using Stripe Checkout and Lambda@Edge.
There's also an API to manage products, media, etc.
I would love to have folks first try the demo (no signup required).
Love HMart for the selection.
Hate HMart for the customer service. Forget about getting help with anything while in there.
I routinely experience unhelpful, uncaring employees that make shopping at HMart completely frustrating.
It was instructor-led workouts for me where I could also measure my progress.
I've loathed working out. I'm not a gym sort of person. I tried watching Netflix and YouTube, and listening to Spotify, etc on the treadmill and always had poor results.
I use an iPad to watch the Fitness+ instruction and tying that to my Watch is just what I need.
At $70 a year, I think Fitness+ is a steal.
I went from hating the treadmill to loving it because of Apple Fitness+. Scott Carvin is the instructor I use the most and he's amazing. I also use Anya for rower workouts and she's amazing too.
I'm wondering if a startup will come along to turn this concept into a creator-instructor marketplace that ties into Apple Watch, etc.

What the what?Docker recapitalized in 2019 when they sold the enterprise business to Mirantis.
So, yes Docker hit the reset button and wiped out all the existing shareholders.
The people that spam my referrer logs are going public?
Fixed that. Sorry! It was intended to lead to the signup page here: https://app.perspect.com/signup
Since I reimplemented the Wordpress API, the WP iOS and Android apps, for example, think they're talking to a regular ol' Wordpress installation. But the resulting site is statically generated and delivered using Cloudfront.
Shameless plug for my thing which reimplements the Wordpress API over static websites to solve this very problem.
Shameless plug for my static website service: https://perspect.com/
Worth mentioning: my service is also wire compatible with Wordpress mobile clients.
It's easy to get a little laugh from this, but congrats to the guy for exploring. Now he knows first-hand the inordinate challenge and can describe it in detail, but more importantly avoid these hard-learned patterns later.
Aurora Serverless is an absolute nightmare to use from the perspective of Lambda. It’s easy to flood the database with Lambda connections and the database layer doesn’t scale automatically as described. So the result is that Aurora Serverless returns max connections errors.
The RDS Proxy isn’t GA yet and has huge disclaimers on using it in production.
The only alternative is to use the RDS Data API which requires sending raw SQL queries over HTTP.
If you’re using an ORM getting the actual bound SQL query from the database request can be a bear.
And to make matters worse the RDS Data API doesn’t return JSON results with the tables column names. It puts the column names in a separate key that requires developers to map to generic column names using the index of the value.
AWS should be embarrassed about Aurora Serverless. No question in my mind.
No change in pricing for GP2 in six years.
The fundamental question is this:
Would Facebook have any credibility with enterprises?
My sense: No.
I find this a little surprising because, Anker, Eufy's parent company, has a good reputation from my perspective.
I've been wondering how much value a privacy-focused search engine has when the links in its search results are full of privacy-invading trackers.
Congrats to getting to this point!
How did you get an initial set of customers? How did you get the word out besides on HN?
I want a service like this for credit card numbers.
