Agents also "read", so yes there is. Think about spinning up 10, 20, 100 sub agents for a small task and they all return near instant. That's the usecase, not the chatbot.

I think with new(er) GaN(or SiC) DC/DC buck conversion, 380V systems can get up to 98.2%, typically around 94% efficiency now.
Edit: And voltage of these type of DC grids are often higher (600V - 1000V, or industrial even up to 1500V), so losses in cables are less.
Amazing to see OctoPrint on HN. In a weird way I owe my career to it and specially Gina.
8 years ago I started working at a 3D printing company as a support engineer, where the UI of the printer was not up to par. In a short period of time during my off hours I developed a different front-end that could sit on top of OctoPrint. The printer was able to be sold again and I got offered a software engineering job. Gina was so helpful on IRC, she often pushed me into Python documentation instead of solving the problem for me. We build the first plugins for OctoPrint at that time. The plug-in is still running on many printers in the wild.
I have huge respect for Gina and OctoPrint, being able to make your opensource project your job.

I had this wonderful experience in the south of Portugal, where they had traffic lights that would only go on red if you were speeding, and if you would ignore the red light you would get a fine for it.

And this tuning is of utmost important. People often forget that the tuning is human intervention with specific 'specs'. The little baby machine get's quickly tuned to these, good or bad.
Just wondering, how can a small country like for example the Netherlands, with no vast tree wildlife for example, get to a neutral or even positive foot print? A trading nation by roots, is it even possible to get to 0 deficit?

Continuous is kind of a misleading marketing term isn't it? If it projected, it is in frames. Just like that the upward movement is in frames / steps. In essence the resolution is still as high as the resolution of the step motors moving the build plate up and it's layer by layer.
Not arguing that it is not a cool technique, just saying that they marketing it again with bogus wording.
I've seen many FDM printers do continuous, albeit vase-like, prints. Shall we market them as Continuous Filament Fuser?
