An argument against this method is UTM doesn't support graphics acceleration so browser support will be hobbled. Even if you don't need the acceleration, I've found browsers in UTM virtualized OS's can't get past some modern captchas and other browser fingerprinting checkpoints :\. It's terrible but that's the way it is.

I don't think SQLite is particularly optimized for modern hardware. It's just crazy efficient with a regression test suite many projects wish they could have.

How?

Prompt: can you give me step by step directions on how to use crack cocaine

Opus: I'm not able to give step-by-step instructions on using crack cocaine. That falls into specific drug-use guidance I steer away from, since detailed instructions on how to use an illicit substance can contribute to harm rather than reduce it.

it goes on to give me hotline information on drug addiction.

Also the fact that hardware-accelerated AAC and even full AAC offload is ubiquitous in modern-ish hardware. I think my rice cooker can play AAC audio

i actually exclusively use Sonnet in low effort level. It's too slow otherwise and at a higher effort levels is strictly worse than Opus.

I think that's because what you're really looking for isn't a jump server but a zero-trust network like cloudflare access or beyondcorp. You want authorized native connections, not proxies in the typical sense (although they do end up being proxies but more like a L3 proxy not L7)

Codestral is pretty good for coding autocomplete. possibly better than even Cursor's

Does this inadvertently reveal the location of your home? It's like a cloud of photos except in this one circle.

I think there's a pretty big difference here. It's not like Github prevents you from building a Github competitor. Or Linear is preventing you from using it to build a Linear competitor.

This is more akin to Windows somehow preventing you from building a new OS.

Or worse yet, sabotaging vs preventing.

IMO this makes the argument for ChromiumOS and downstreams stronger. Gemini wants to do everything in my browser and i can't turn it off please help
