when I interviewed, take-home challenge took 5+ hours, 2 weeks for review, was given incorrect feedback from a different candidate, then rejected after further review without the option to correct a silly mistake I made. Wouldn't recommend applying here.

It's debatable if one has "good communication skills" or not. This is what I'm saying. If you talk to someone different they would have a completely different viewpoint on your "skills." Nothing objective in that. Plus, you can't really judge how well you talk with a client in an interview since the interviewer is not a client of the company.
I was informed by a recruiter that they aren't hiring in 2015 anymore so this post is a bust.

You'll never get feedback on rejection during this company's interview process in my experience.

It was difficult based on the description to find out that this is actually a sales job and not a programming job.
One of their job descriptions says that the only two full-time engineers are the co-founder (Adam) and product development (Ouziel).
I don't understand. These types of websites have existed for a long time. This is nothing new. Most people have found out that hidden-city ticketing doesn't work either on round-trip flights because the airlines will cancel the rest of the trip if they find out. It only works for one-way trips with carry-on bags only.

Vurb confuses me because it says "Engineering All Levels" on vurb.com/jobs but then this post says "Lead Android Engineer." What do you really want?
When you say Python, do you mean in terms of web development?
I doubt many of these companies are hiring non-programmers for engineering roles. Sometimes people post designer jobs if you're into that though.
