Carezone has a app that might be helpful, but what seems to work best for my parents is to have them get a physical system in place with those full week pill organizer boxes. https://carezone.com/home

It's not the best reporting, but from what I can tell, the FBI is collecting evidence against auction bidders who allegedly conspire to pay less for foreclosed real-estate. The auctions take place on the courthouse steps, and the bidders have been accused of working together to keep prices low by intimidating some bidders and conspiring with others. I'd love to see the auctions moved to a website marketplace. Maybe a good startup idea?
If you have a Walmart nearby they carry Novolin R for ~$24/10ml. It's still expensive, but better than the $120 or more for Humulin I was spending at Costco (and still better that the $300 charged at some places).
Yes, you can print out a commemorative certificate and a gift card. A sample is available to view before purchase.
Yes, currently we're only setup for US residents. Europe is on the roadmap, but unfortunately we're not there yet :) Happy to answer any questions.
Will definitely be missed. Garry is exceptionally kind, sharp, and helpful in an organization full of exceptional, kind and helpful people. Hope to work with you again, but love the decision you're making to spend time with family. Can't go wrong with investing in family time!
I hope they can work it out. It would be a shame to lose someone who loves teaching and who students appreciate. My 1A prof at Cal said openly (and with a dash of humor) that he was being forced to lecture and would rather do his research but that he periodically had to teach a class. I wonder if that was the accepted culture in the department and Coward broke a bit against the status quo.
The population of Pittsburgh has been declining for over 50 years. It's likely to have a lower cost for housing since demand is disappearing. SF/NYC have the opposite problem of limited supply of housing and increasing population.
It's a great point. I think people are getting better about teaching kids about finances, but it's still a difficult conversation for some. Kids receive many signals about how to be a consumer, but perhaps could benefit from more focus on how to make something, grow something, save or invest. Thanks for the feedback, it's something people have mentioned to us and will guide how we message kids about gifted stock, and which educational materials we develop.
Spark Gift founders here, happy to answer any questions!
We’re supporting fractional shares, so you can give a gift of as little as $20 of stock with just an email. You can receive a gift from family without giving up your SSN (unlike savings bonds or other investment gifts) so if you’re lucky enough to have someone who wants to give you or your children such a gift, you can do so with some privacy.
