Love the concept, but I don't think you need 14 grand. You already have a huge fanbase, and I'm willing to bet developers would love to help in building the platform.
That's what the bio section is for. HN is a minimalist piece of software that hasn't been updated in forever and probably never will be. We like it that way.
This I like. But why does moving the pieces up and down produce a sort of cylinder?
Link broken. "www" doesn't just work automatically, you have to setup another cname recond.
Just do it. As soon as you start thinking you need to "judge the demand" before executing an idea, you never will.
I was one of those kids back in the days of Runescape. I don't think reporters grasp what the term "coding skills" means.
University.
Now I starve. I just went to papajohns.com, automatically redirected to a Facebook error page.
I wonder if that sweet sweet karma was worth it.
I just received this email. I'm pretty sure there's nothing honest in play here.
>Yo! We just did a webinar about marketing with purchased email lists. Think buying emails is legit? Wonder how many dead ones are in the list? They showed buying 70,000 emails at $.005/each. Not much $, but the result was to send them to an affiliate site, and hopefully get paid…..
To clarify, no he's not making money. Few people ever do. The products are more often than not worthless ebooks, but the real scam is the conmen that lead you to believe it's easy, anyone can do it, and pay me $99 and I'll have you earning thousands in the next few minutes.
>perhaps you could convince him to sell honest products using honest techniques
Precisely what I'm after. It's hard to be convincing when my side of the argument isn't offering "40000/month on autopilot!"
It's probably an issue on their end.

Nothing. I'm in a bit of a pickle. I don't want to launch something that isn't going to succeed, but it's incredibly hard to predict if an idea is really worth doing. Any tips?
