I had a similiar case with influeza the past december. I didn't eat for 4 days, fever for a long time, and low energy during the whole 4 weeks it took me to get back to normal.

I couldn't drink coffee or alcohol during those 4 weeks, and notice that I didn't get any migraines after those 4 weeks even when I, for the past 12 years, knew exactly how I got them reliably.

I didn't make sense to me to keep drinking coffee because the benefits of coffee which for me was mostly ritual and taste, didn't outweight the weight of having a migraine for sure if I slept a minute less than 8hrs.

Mind you, I'm talking about a cup almost everyday with milk, ice coffee in the mornings.

Jeff Geerling talked about it on a video about his Washer. Totally agree.

Why not make the printer a fully open source project where the guiding is done by framework but maybe most of the work f comes from the community?

The feeling you got when tinkering is the same I got when first studied formal electronics in HS. I didn't do college, but the only one from my graduation year who stayed into electronics until now it's me. It's been 12years and I'm still doing it. I've been blessed enough to have encountered people that paid me to do Industrial Design and Product R&D. I'm now currently in manufacturing and automation.

Don't they suffer from the same H1B restrictions?

I have a Casino machine addon that connects to the cloud with json/websockets in production. And I have a vertical light controller for indoor farming. These arent with ESPHome. With ESPHome I have a water pump to recharge a big water container when gov sends water at certain times everyday.

This is great. The main reason people change phone in the last couple years has been for battery degradation and screen breakage. Changing those for many people is not an option because is not really possible to get the same quality parts as OEM afterwards.

I hate the trend of software guys naming things after hardware related stuff

I find myself in the same hole but not because of lack of opportunities from peers or life, not because I dont have good ideas or dont know how to excecute them.

I have work mostly all my life working as a freelancer and havent been able to find a workplace that I feel really confortable. That and situations that always seem to happen in the worst possible moment, I found myself in the necesity to make my own company, what do we do? what do we make? software and hardware. anything specific? no im working towards that.

My house brother printer "broke" a few months ago, because I started to need it again because of paperwork I need to do for my newly founded company I talk to my mom about fixing it. She was more inclined into buying a new one, HP. I oppose to it, that printer has been working for a few years without major issues, it has its quirks but works great. The one we had before was also a Brother.

What broke in this one was the Drum, so I dived into printer tutorials and information to see that printer Drums are rated for an x amount of prints, the repair shop we took it to said it was because of that but in a negative way when its pretty normal in all sorts of things to break after the rated amount.

In the end, the repair shop owner looked for an used drum locally so we can get it cheaper, She got it and sold it to us for $50 bucks.

I waited to see if I saw any black friday deal to buy it and save it but didnt happen.

I've been looking for information like the one provided on the video for a long time, and because of my ignorance and bad querys didnt have much luck, thanks to the video and this thread I've found more and enough so I can start planning local competitions.
