I think you're mistaking two things. Being around neurotypicals and teaching him proper social skills and coping mechanism.

Normal kids can and will learn the latter from other kids, but it is way harder for autistics. He can learn social skills for sources that are made with autistic way of thinking in mind and that will be more humane (?) I think.

He will also need to learn a bit different set of skills than neurotypicals (like more emotional regulation etc), I don't remember exactly when I found it, but there is a theory or sth that autistic people develop differently AKA on a different timeline.

Being in regular kindergarden will likely result in bullying so please keep that in mind.

Source: my autistic self being bullied since kindergarden and living with NTs for quite some time ;)

You can also look at how it influences you, like bad stress in making you unable to cope and can cause some mental health issues. At one point there can be just too much, in dog training that is called threshold and individuals have their own capacity. So 3 life events that you would handle no problem separately, could be way worse when they happen at once.

This is kinda of sad, because wikipedia has her page titled as Marie Curie too. It is a bit ironic imo, because poles are very proud of her and yet at the time the country failed her, by not giving the possibility of attending university.

European here, is stating your ethnicity normal on uni applications? What is the reasoning behind that? To me it seems very odd as being female in IT I try to hide it when I can (having resume without photo etc) and I would be outraged if we had to state our ethnicity/religion/other on resume.

I hear what's your saying, but should be that their right? Right to f!#(& up their lives, because they decided it that way.

Well I think fortunetelling was some primitive form of therapy. When I was in my teens I've got really into that stuff and it is actually written in tarot books, that the intent of the whole thing should be listening and helping people. There are few discourses in therapy and not all of them focus on facing past trauma, that doesn't mean they are bad because of that (CBT for example).

You have a point with giving untrained/unregulated advice, but when I think about it something seems odd. Like when you ask your friends, close ones, they aren't therapist, their advice isn't regulated and even they may have bad intentions. Talking to other people about your problems at all, no matter who they are seems helpful.

But that's their choice. It was used as an insult in a pretty straight forward way (I was there you know?) and I didn't mean honest mistake of guessing wrongly based on name or nickname. I have experience being told that I can not be a woman because women don't play wow on fridays.. yea or because I'm a programmer. This even wasn't a one time incident.

Ben would you mind then being called she/her then if that is so silly? I'm a hetero woman and I've been called a male few times when gaming and this is not silly, people are rejecting your identity and I can't even imagine how bad this is for trans/NB people.

That is a known pattern for people in discriminated group that they want to behave like the majority and take it to the extreme. So female bosses in environment when females are underrepresented may behave like that. It goes hand in hand with internalized sexism (and she tries to prove that she is not like 'other girls/women'). This and more interesting patterns like that are described in What works for women at work.

Most of things taken to an extreme get toxic and there is such thing as toxic femininity. There is the divine feminine, but please do not forget that most of the deities or gods were actually male. To me what you're saying seems like a big over generalization.

Autistic are not necessarily introverts. Autism is more like social blindness than introversion. Considering the fact that human is highly social animal it makes life harder. Calling people with ASD introverts is like calling people with depression just sad.
