I'm guessing New Relic's website was not built using your tool. Posting a screenshot of their website on your marketing site implies that your tool was used to build it. A bit misleading in my opinion.

I switched to Illustrator and found I liked it better. But, I added an Omnigraffle version altho it's not perfect.

I'll debug it and preview again in Firefox. I built it fast and didn't properly test it before moving on to other work. When I do "real" work I do test in Firefox on all platforms.

The UI designer in me loves these. The UX designer in me says that replacing native UI elements is bad practice. Am I wrong?

How does this work? I assume all encrypted emails require both parties use the software, right? So, all my friends, associates, coworkers have to have GPGMail to read my encrypted emails?

I'm curious if this works well across modern browsers (IE9+, Chrome, Safari, Firefox)?

Browser support? Any idea if this works in IE7/8?

Am I missing something? What is in this CMS that is worth $1,500/month? Or is it just they can charge that because of who they are and who they're targeting (enterprise)?

I tested out the app and found it more complicated and not much more powerful than existing free or cheap CMSes.

Is it legal to manipulate web traffic like this? I would assume some companies who depend on ads (eg, NYTimes.com) would object, perhaps with a lawsuit, to ISPs or other imitation ISPs (ie, Hotels) to removing original NYTimes ads and replacing it with their own.

Love the design. Clean, interesting and informing. One thing I would suggest is add a screenshot of the product somewhere. I find that seeing the product helps really draw me in and want to sign up.

Can you link to anyone besides GoDaddy? I'm sure you've noticed the many reasons around the tubes lately on why not to use them.

Interesting from an IO point of view. It would be nice to have a clearer tie-in with CPU and other benchmarks for these providers. Does anyone have any experience with Storm on Demand to share? Their prices for SSD-based servers look enticing.

Also possible with Postmarkapp's Inbound hook, and they support image attachments. They even provide PHP, Ruby, Python libraries for saving attachments.

That doesn't imply they will be posting a public update. As a Linode customer, I would like to know details of how this breach occurred and what actions will be taken to prevent it in the future.

Are these numbers based on most previous versions of PHP? I'm on 5.3.10, do you think if I upgraded I would see similar improvements?

I agree, pick something you want to learn. I took about 6 months off. The first 2 I relaxed and didn't do much. Then, I bought a nice DSLR and got into photography. It was awesome to be able to have time to dive into a hobby and really soak it all in. I developed some great skills that will be useful to me for the rest of my life. It was also during this time that I realized what I wanted to do next.

I think it's more name recognition. Nearly all of my freelance clients who bought their own domain name for a new venture used Godaddy. Why? Because it's the only domain registrar they've ever heard of.

They don't know about Godaddy's bad press or it's upselling techniques. They just know they saw a superbowl ad saying "need a domain name? use godaddy"

I'm curious why mailchimp made the acquisition. Your service is simple and works well; it wouldn't be hard for mailchimp to build it themselves.

Was the acquisition to get your user base, or to get you to come work for them to build out their newsletter service?

A very interesting idea of moving abroad to take advantage of cheaper labor. But, he suggests taking 9 months of prep time (6 to move there and try it out, 1 to vacation there and think about it, 2 to do research) before even starting the company in another country.

In that amount of time, you could take a product to market, iterate a few times, and gain considerable traction. I wouldn't trade that for cheap labor. As an entrepreneur my most precious asset is time; I can't give up a week much less 9 months without advancing the company.

Nice use of qq.FileUploader. What are you using for those floating (top right) user notifications like when I delete a photo?
