What a brilliant billing and account interaction interface. I legitimately wanted to build something like this for a transactional SMS provider where it would all be provisioned, managed, configured on the CLI. Do you have any tips on how you built this out so elegantly?

I have been derelict in my CEO duties and have been building features in Claude Code the past few weeks and it's been amazing. I've given myself until December 31st to go down the developer path and these increased usage limits are going to be awesome.
I hope that there will be lots of new SHOWN HN projects that manifest because of these increased limits, and that we all get to vibe through the holiday season.

I've been using Onyx (and Danswer before it) for over a year, and I'd push back on this. We have Freshdesk, Bookstack, Google Drive, YouTrack, and Slack all connected. It seamlessly answers questions like:
"What's Max's GitHub username?" "I need wire transfer instructions for an incoming wire"
We also index competitors' helpdesks and KB articles to track new features they're rolling out. Our tech support team uses it daily because Freshdesk's AI is terrible and their internal KB search is lackluster. Onyx actually finds things. The value isn't in being "one chat to rule them all" — it's in unified search across disparate systems with citations. That's not getting commoditized anytime soon. Keep up the good work, team.
Forwarding emails is problematic especially if your provider for the primary mx does not have great spam filtering and then you end up sending spam to your backup account.
It certainly does not get around the ...if your account gets banned maybe the forwards will still work... concept but in general something like https://github.com/joeyates/imap-backup to backup your email and then add them to a typical backup process with your other files works well.
Happy workos customer for at least 4 years. Thank you.
Just an FYI, your site does not have a working SSL certificate and many may not want to click through.
Why not archive vs. the destructive delete. There is a risk of misclassification to promotion and then 2 days later delete. Seems like a default aggressive stance.
yes please
Is there any solution for statement downloading, like many small businesses I have credit card statements, bank accounts that I need to provide to my accountant.
While my "books" are synced via Quickbooks, they (accountants) really seem to love having the PDF in hand. I just need the PDFs and they do not send them via email...
Similar to objectiveFS - we use this in production for email sync between multiple postfix servers and dovecot. Is this a supported use case?
So what SIEM do people suggest? AWS shop, EC2, VPC, Lamba, RDS
I had finger running on login to `finger stacy` I was at SDSU on a very large SunOS system and she was at a private school and I assume that computer was a bit more limited.
`Finger Stacy` would run every minute and typically be running for 15 minutes max... that is until I moved into the dorms and my machine was online all the time.
A few weeks go by and I get an email from the SDSU admin requesting that I stop fingering stacy as it was bothering the other Sysadmin. I remarked with a grin that all I was trying to do was in fact try to `name of the command` and they promptly deleted the script from the account.. It still makes me smile as I write this.
Looks useful. Been using this for years, find it very effective - https://github.com/labnol/unsubscribe-gmail
I chose the Hyundai Ioniq 5 as my current car specifically because it’s compatible with OpenPilot. It’s been a total game-changer for my driving experience. Just like their tagline says, “make driving chill,” and for me, it truly delivers on that promise.
Sorry just read this in your repo "You can think of us as an open source alternative to products like Auth0 or WorkOS."
Is this a competitor to workos.com ? (we use them to connect customers to our apps)
Handling lots of production email for hundreds of domains for the past 10 years on https://www.iredmail.org/
Thank you - and would you be open to white labeling?
Seems that this tool actually validates your email and checks its alignment vs. just checking to see if there is a dmarc record on the domain.
Great tool, one bit of feedback on the log report. Perhaps you can highlight the passing line in the SPF record, I have about 100 of these "The ip4 mechanism does not match." and then a lot of "The include mechanism matches and produces a pass result."
Maybe you can highlight the passing statement? - https://app.screencast.com/Hu5ybB6K3fd9R

I have been running https://mailflowmonitoring.com for the past 6 years on Amber (A Crystal framework) it flawlessly manages the sending and tracking of round trip emails for tens of thousands of pings a day.
So what’s the alternative option here for a mobile and desktop 2fa?
I cant speak for any site other than G2. We have multiple unpaid products that appear appropriately in their lists and quadrants. The question one has to ask themselves, just like in SEO "is my profile optimized" and try work out what their automations expect rather than paying for placement.
Great looking project. Is this something that could replace https://workos.com ? - We have a number of customers that want to use their own authentication providers to access our applications. Would Ory provide such a bridge or are there any alternatives?
Spent the last few days trying to find a hosted (paid) service that does PDF indexing. Check out https://notejoy.com/
Its my understanding that the vendor that they were buying LIDAR from was either slow paid or never paid - and then cut them off. This is when LIDAR became less important in their marketing spin and they said that they do not need it.
We as a small SaaS selling into large companies and Bonterms has made negotiating what previously took months into a few days. The customers legal team agreeing to using this format is the most complicated. We just mention that most real estate deals are negotiated on standard paperwork with an overriding cover page - and so do we. Works amazingly well.
