I migrated from Hg to Git a few years back, only because BitBucket forced my hand and most of the hosted CI tools stared dropping support for Mercurial.
But I still prefer Hg over Git.
European here: rationally it may make no sense at all, but my gut feelings made me ditch Amazon Prime and replace a Kindle reader with a Kobo in February.
FlowingEdge Home Edition auto-discovers the devices in the same group, supports auto-resume of the file transfer, supports sharing from other mobile apps, isolates devices in the same network but belonging to different groups, works natively on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, Linux.
There are free apps (mainly web apps) that can compete on some of the features, but we feel that our app has an edge on usability and practicality. Last but not least we need to pay ourselves :-)
