I know there is a lot of contention about AI in games, but when used properly, you can really speed up development, without sacrificing art form.

If you've tried using AI with a unity project, you've probably noticed it starts to fail, especially when it needs to touch the editor.

This doesn't take into consideration the time to bring someone up to speed and their productivity hit from that. There is also cost and slowdown from the company's perspective to bring someone new up to speed (it usually will slow down others involved too).

You should just be sure you need and want to hire someone before they show up for their first day.

I did this on Saturday and will give WhimseyBox the benefit of the doubt to fix this by Mon/Tues before disputing with Amex. It's always a slow road when Amex investigates.

I literally just tried to sign up for this as a gift for someone this past weekend.

I tried to buy a year gift subscription and got an error message. It showed me a silly error message which included Ryan Gosling promising a foot massage for me to keep my calm. I mistakingly tried 2 more times and now see 3 charges on my credit card.

For what it’s worth, they use Stripe. I saw the $1 pending transaction they tried. Hopefully Stripe can shut them down.

QR codes are just an embedded block of text. They can also redirect you to a URL, so in that case, it's just a shortcut to typing.

Stickybits allows you to actually write to barcodes (effectively using the barcode as just a pointer to lots of media)

No easy way to do this with QR and be social. Unless you set up a website.

To ensure the same type of experience across browsers, we decided to make much of the top images. Most people still use IE, and we didn't want gross rendered text.

Also, I like tables :) They just work.

Yes, you can create websites and link to them, but it's cumbersome.

With stickybits, you can just upload and you're done. And people see your resume immediately when scanned.

Also, the first person to scan a barcode is the "moderator" and can delete any content that gets posted.
