I had a hell of a time getting WiFi roaming to work in my house between Omada APs in a low-interference suburban neighborhood.

Any combination of 802.11r and k/v seemed to just cause my phone's connection to drop for minutes at a time when moving around the house.

I wish I could remember my exact solution for you, I believe I just turned off 802.11r and k/v, set channel selection to automatic, and undid any manual or automatic power tuning.

It's pretty unusual to publically throw someone under the bus by name like this in a professional name.

Given it's an unusual situation, people are reflecting on what makes this allegedly incompetent VP different from other incompetent VPs who aren't called out like this?

Pumped storage is definitely the most efficient method of energy storage, but is it the cheapest when taking infrastructure costs and land use into account?

I remember reading about plans to use renewables to pump Colorado River water back up into Lake Mead to increase the amount of power the dam can generate during low generation periods for solar and wind.

That seems like an efficient approach, because the dam and reservoir are already there.
