I would say spending everyday hours on your phone especially on social media is way more harmful then being filmed by someone. That aside: This over-the-top behaviour is really damaging. That i sit here in Berlin and can watch how someone in Scottland is called out as a pervert over a minor event is modern lynch mob behaviour, and i am quite sure the intention of the people who spread this is less to protect the kids then just to feel moralic superior.

I realized that people from india often show this kind of behaviour in my experience . They superconfidently give you a wrong answer and walk away or even help by making things worse and then dissappear shrugging .. Are you from india ?

I think it’s less about the fact that the drivetrain is electric — it’s more that modern cars no longer have analog gauges, no hand-stitched surfaces, none of that tactile craftsmanship. I think the soul of a „thing“ not necessarily equals its function or form. Its perhaps deeper and resembles more something like the term quality i thougt lately about. So two things or actions or whatever have different quality not because of their directly measurable attributes but also because of how it was created so how the context of the thing was affected. I think thats a good point. Most things bore me because i am hindered to do the thing i want to do. But the solution still is trying to do your best at the boring things. To be able to do that, one needs some kind of purpose-giving overall philosophy.
