It looks pretty ambitious on release from what I've seen youtubers playing. Then again, they only played the first 100 years. Who knows what late game content will be like (that said, people don't usually play that long).

The "10x every 12 months" is pure salesman from sama. An engineer wouldn't do these extrapolations from little data in good faith.

I used Zed on Linux and liked it a lot... until I couldn't write a space in english layout (still worked on alternative layouts). Strange

I intuit parent was referring to PC gaming, which is far more demanding than mobile gaming. Also, most PC games are compiled to x86_64, which means there will need to be a virtualization layer for non-native games (the majority), which will add latency.

This is a well written and interesting introductory article to learn about the context behind semiconductor manufacturing. It's good!

Sadly I cringed a bit too hard at the Dune analogy haha

This argument is somewhat misguided. In my hometown maybe 30% of the population was immigrant, but with a good integration policy there have been no issues. In my experience, neighborhoods in the USA are much more fractured with each keeping to their own. This, in my opinion, is ultimately unhealthy

I tried to play it last summer and it didn't work out. Thankfully I gave it a second chance with the intention to fully RP and with my main objective being to romance Shadowheart (because it's good to have goals), and it's been better. I must say that at times I felt overwhelmed, and I'm grateful to have some friends who played the game that could help me with some questlines!

You won't find them in the city haha. That said, Catalonia is a very beautiful place and I encourage you to visit its rural landscapes, like Montserrat, Rupit and Viladrau (and of course, all of the Pyrenees)! Also in the coast I love Tossa de Mar and Sant Martí d'Empúries, near L'Escala.
