10+ years experience, contract preferred (but open to perm if it fits). Besides implementing I love getting involved in business development.

- Radically limit your input. Read less and only high-quality stuff

- Do-nothing-alternative: if you work on a task either a) work on it, or b) do nothing. Don't allow yourself to browse, check the phone etc.

- meditate or try "free-writing": open your text editor and write. Only rule: never stop typing. Do this for as long as you can. It clears your mind and uncovers deeper thoughts and ideas

I believe we all are losing our ability to concentrate which is a frightening prospect. But you made an important step by recognising this! To concentrate is something we need to train and exercise like a muscle.

+1 I always had back problems, but after my now two year old was born it got much worse, due to lack of sleep, lack of sports and the permanent lifting of 13 kg. I tried a lot of things at home, the only relief were medical massages.

This book "Foundation: Redefine Your Core, Conquer Back Pain, and Move with Confidence" did almost magic to my problems. The exercises are dead simple and I'm still amazed how well they help.

Agreed, the infomercial nature is a bit off putting but don't let this distract you, the exercises are working
