Outcomes4Me is a seed-funded startup that helps cancer patients beat their disease by empowering them with algorithmically personalized treatment options, clinical trial matches, and more. We’re hiring a lead mobile engineer and senior full-stack engineer to become cornerstones of our engineering team. Come join us and help improve real cancer patient outcomes!

Outcomes4Me is a seed-funded startup filling a huge need for patients with cancer and other life-threatening diseases by giving them the ability manage their own treatment options. We’re partnering with the top associations and hospitals to build the first consumer-quality mobile app that both patients and doctors can trust to provide diagnosis-specific treatment options, clinical trials, news, and more.

We’re hiring a lead React Native engineer to help us complete and iterate on our v1. You should have a high degree of comfort developing with React Native and building high-quality, lovable experiences. Strength implementing UI mock-ups and high performance features is a must. Experience developing native apps/components for iOS and/or Android is a plus.

I don't think it's the name so much as the attitude that matters. I've definitely seen startup founders that expected a longer term commitment from employees than they did from themselves. The founders wanted employees to believe 100% that they would be at the company for years to come, even though the founders fully expected to guide the company from inception to acquisition as quickly as possible and then split. I think the reality is that startup industry people, regardless of whether they're in a founding or hired role, are in it to create businesses and learn how to do so. Once those opportunities evaporate, they're not going to see value in sticking around to turn the gears. Startups that try to hire for long-haulers are bringing in the asylum-seekers, not the risk-takers.
