Depending on the license, how is this legal?

Plenty of java software is used by regular users. Minecraft is incredibly popular and one of the few games that (used to) run natively on mac.
So? The users paid for a machine that is supposed to "just work"
If something works on OS release version 1 then it should still work on OS release version 2.
Or in apple vernacular, it should just work.
First day on the internet?
How could it be done better?
PMTiles is great for a static background. You can easily do a layer on top with geojson like you say, or even just by storing your own data in postgres and using postgis ST_AsMVT to turn it into a vector tile layer. Stick a cachebuster in the URL & a http cache in front and you can call it a day.
This is a public forum, we're not DMing
Everyone is capable of learning else they'd have died as a toddler, or any time since when they tried to cross the road.
Correct, we don't have AI yet.
AI has always meant Artificial Intelligence. Intelligent and capable of learning, like a person.
LLMs are not AI.
Stay your lane, and if you really feel the itch go contribute to firefox or something
`<input type='password'`, just like TFA was talking about?
Ideally developers could let the user know their caps lock key is activated.
That would be up to the User Agent (the browser), not the website.
Maybe I don't want to have to worry about if a PWA is good enough, and will remain good enough?
Proper support on all platforms. No point working on PWAs that have janky tooling (reason: see previous sentence) when they're only going to work decently on Android devices anyway.
If you need it spelled out for you:
* WebUSB
* WebBLE
* WebSerial
* WebGL
* Many more standards Apple refuses to implement because it would let developers break free of their walled garden
Without being able to target apple devices why would I, or anyone, bother using these technologies and invest in their tooling? Just make a native android app with quality tooling that's been around for a decade and be done with it.
Try reading my post again, maybe? The tooling is pretty janky because no one does this yet. No point to torture yourself with janky tooling when you only get to target android anyway...
It shouldn't be a problem if you only train on legally acquired data. You will know the authors name and can contact them if you so wish.
What's actually missing that's stopping this from working?

The WWDC audience cheers at everything.
It seems like bigcorps are definitely still fighting against piracy
Microsoft with OpenAI is leading the race, but all of the AI orgs are basically just laundering copyrighted material they do not have the rights to.
The thing is that countless of lives have been ruined by bigcorps for doing "piracy".
But now the bigcorps see it as a way to gain more money and control over other's lifes, so suddenly doing piracy is totally fine and for the greater good!
The worst part is that these individuals whose lives have been ruined weren't even harming anyone. Their operations were on such a small scale that it barely had any impact.
But these bigcorps are looking to reshape society, destroy many jobs and industries, rewrite social contracts, and it's all just hunky dory.
Turns out you can ignore copyright law if your company has enough money.
Then you shouldn't position yourself as a gatekeeper. I also don't want to pay taxes, but have to comply with the law anyway.
Mysteriously not on the front page.
Just like it is not legal to do copyright infringement indifferent to how much you own the hardware you do it on.
It is legal for me to make a copy of any copyright protected media using hardware that I own. It is not legal for me to share this copy with others.
Why would software that lets me use hardware that I own, installed in my machine, be subject to a cease and desist?
Yes, we did. Any other questions?
How did you manage to arrive at that interpretation?
