that's just lifting the ban and is pure virtue signaling. none of the electricity producers in switzerland actually want build nuclear power plants, because they are way too expensive.

Are they shutting down the product
Yes. And you only have until 4th March to migrate away!
Quite the opposite: Given how few people actually walk in the US these numbers are even crazier...
I’ve heard this argument before but I don’t get it. It’s trivial to setup your code editor to format on save. Why do people not do that but rather complain about files linter checks on CI?
ok, that makes sense. A better Helm would be nice. timoni.sh is getting better and better, but Cue is a big hurdle.
Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of the yaml-hell that crossplane is either.
But as a Terraform replacement systeminit.com is still the strongest looking contender.
Looks promising but it starts with a (justified) rant about terraform and then goes into how to replace Helm.
I am confused. Can yoke be used to create and manage infrastructure or just k8s resources?
I am in my 40 and joined a startup last year. Best decision ever. I still love what I am doing and I can’t imagine doing something else.
Increased productivity has to more, not less toiling in the last 50 or so years. This is not gonna be different with AGI (if it ever happens). Some people will get very rich while the rest is still gonna work just as much as they are now. The jobs just gonna suck even more.
I love seeing innovation in this sector. I’ve long felt that there must be a better way than terraform and pulumi. Excited to try it out.
Firing sales and marketing and getting rid of the free tier. How are they planning to find new customers?
ISDN is what made my parents’ phone bill explode. 128kb/s with two channels was like a dream come true haha
Nice story but that has never happened. Delays are announced when >=3min are expected.
The country: Switzerland The people: Swiss
The word Switzer isn’t in use since a very long time :)
It’s not integrated well into the UI and thus a big hassle to use. Much easier to just checkout the branch and create a commit (or just write a comment…)
if AGI is as close as autonomous cars, I think we are going to be ok.
yes, massively over the last ~12 months. https://cloud.google.com/storage/pricing-announce
me too :)
Native plants do that just as well, if not better though.
ever bought a car in cash?
If the headline read consumers now willing to pay twice the price it wouldn't have the same clickbait value
that's not how it works though. Inflation affects a lot of goods where you have no choice, you just need it (e.g. food, utilities, housing, transportation).
I rarely watch tv all by myself. I couldn’t imagine but two, three or four of these devices and then sit on the couch with three other ppl in isolation.
Here you can scan what you buy with your phone and when you exit the store pay with app. I can pack the things straight in my bike bag and just walk out of the store. So much more convenient than everything else.
Us outsourcing manufacturing to china is driving co2. Can’t blame that one on china.
How does this compare to Loki?
I gotta say the (new) keycloak operator is super basic and doesn't really support changes in image tag. it always assumes a keycloak upgrade and will automatically scale down your keycloak to 1 instance to do an "upgrade". of course this will overload that one node, it will crash, and all your sessions are gone. I'm not sure if anybody is actually using keycloak & kc-operator in production on kubernetes. the state of the documentation and guides make it look like it's an abandoned product.
In the first semester we had to write a Turing machine. Our profs solution was in excel
that might be possible. I don't have ipv6 where i am right now, so I can't test it myself. it's also only at certain locations.
same for me :/ since 1:41 CET https://status.ioverlander.com/
not so surprising when read about what a dump google ads has become: https://www.propublica.org/article/google-display-ads-piracy...
this is such a clusterfuck... and the circleci api doesn't even allow to automate most of the steps. and the ones that should work, error with "internal server error". of course, support is completely unresponsive
