I am guessing that pantone is a bunch of colors that are coded a certain way? Isn't there a common mechanism across design software? Like PDF is the platform agnostic way of sharing documents?

It's not Apple in general. If they release a new Mac Mini, it's fine. The thread when the Neo was released, was outright jubilant. It's whenever macOS is mentioned, it devolves in extreme negativity. I always, always avoid those.

I had the same with my motorcycle. Every time I brought it to the dealer, they came up enthusiastically with things to spend money on. Your tires are done! Your break pads are gone! With the help of a friend, I got into doing (very) basic maintenance myself. I just replaced the tires. I fixed a problem with the electrical system. And next will be the chain and sprocket.

The voice thing didn't work well enough, in Dutch at least. I've done an in-between. We instructed an AI as the client. Then as the teacher, I'd represent the client and would type. Students would form project groups, and each group would get 15-30 minutes to ask questions from the "client".

It would be cool to design custom aluminum brackets for the fans. However I found that although ordering 3D prints is very cheap, using (for example) PCBWay for CNCing something out of aluminum is very expensive.

Can I share my Visual Studio Code pet peeve? I tried to set the font of the editor, so I opened the preferences and instead of simply picking a font, there's a textfield for the "font family". I want to set it to Anka/Coder Narrow. I have no idea what I should fill in the textfield, and I feel it's a regression.

Anyway, it's amazing how JetBrains just keeps pumping out IDEs. My students like it. When I suggested Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code for coding C#, they ignored me and installed JetBrains Rider.
