The Biblical concept of Hell as we know it (the place of eternal punishment) didn't emerge until the New Testament as it was in a way redundant.

The OT did have a concept of Hell. It is called "Sheol"[1].

"Therefore Sheol enlarges its throat, and opens wide its enormous jaws, and down go Zion’s nobles and masses, her revelers and carousers!"

The Genesis creation story states that God created the universe in 6 days, but any attempt to demonstrate that it is false will have believers declaring that a "day" is not a precise measurement of time.

The Bible is rather clear that God doesn't measure time like humans do.

You are downplaying the role of an emergency use authorization. "Reasonable belief" sounds experimental to me. Otherwise they would've had all the information needed for FDA approval, it wouldn't have been predicated on belief, and it wouldn't have been labeled emergency use.

Why are you so adverse to accepting the reality of the situation?

I am really fond of the L-sit as it works so many muscle groups and makes for a strong core. It's something you may have to work up to though.

I put my parents on Linux about 10 years ago.

It isn't so much that you or I or others aren't helpless people, it's more that in the city you are surrounded by helpless people. Just due to the shear population density.

Well the rural area where I'm living is booming, and all the people around me have 3 and 4 young children. And surprisingly they do it on 1 income.

That sounds sustainable to me. Can't do that in the city on 1 income.

If you like the city you should stay in the city. Don't listen to me. I don't know what the future holds any more than you do.

But I'm hedging against a continuing gradual decrease in the standard of living in the US and a decline in infrastructure and general lawlessness.

That is near impossible to do in the city.

You will be eating whatever is available. You drink the water that is available. And you get to depend on entirely on law enforcement for your safety and security. And if your roof leaks you pray that you can get someone to show up.

Me personally? I'm going to ensure my own well-being, not rely entirely on corporations and government.

There WILL always be failures, ups and downs, the question is how it is mitigated.
